Now this comedian knows how to write clever clean jokes and still be funny..kudos to him.
My favorite kind of style and he does it so well! Just dry puns, one liners, sarcasm, sneaker punchlines, etc. with exceptional timing and delivery! Thanks Dry Bar and Bobby Tessel for the laughs!

I grew up with Bobby and have not seen him in years. This was like spending time with an old friend and totally hilarious. I cant wait for more.

"Not right now". I usually get tired of one-liners but I kept catching myself looking forward to the next one. Very funny guy.
I would have yelled it out after the 2nd or 3rd time. Don't know why the audience took so long.

This reminds me of Steven wright who also is barely in anything. Steven did write a book and released it fairly recently and I read it. The only book I read ever since I graduated 7 years ago.

Was funny as was the whole show but an Aussie comedian I saw a few years ago had a similar joke about a women trying to get ahead in line of hi because she had a baby and he replied he can't cause his kid was still in the car and he couldn't remember if he'd left a window down.

Hilarious! He's a _little bit_ like Steven Wright, and he's got the quality of material to carry it off. This is definitely my favourite type of comedian, and I'll keep an eye out for this guy.
Check out Stewart Francis. Also, check out Gary Delaney. Both are like Steven Wright. So hilarious.

More like Wright than Hedberg I reckon, because Mitch's delivery is utterly unique - especially his inflection. But I get your point, and the fact that we're talking about Tessel in the same sentence as Mitch Hedberg is quite a compliment.
Hedberg's bit about 'Not blocking a fire exit' is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.@@TheRealHucasys
I don't normally like the 'one-liner' type of comedians, but he was an absolute HOOT!! Great Start to 2024 with Bobby Tessel...
Two things i liked a lot about this comic: 1. Relaxed Delivery (almost Laconic) 2. many of these set-ups really felt like regular situations of his life that he developed into material afterwards, for example a casual comeback with an arresting police officer and so forth...
"Not right now" LOL, nothing like finally getting that Pavlovian response, but then finding there's no way to turn it off.
I do not always find stand up comedians funny. This guy had me laughing so hard that I was in tears.
I also wrote a book last week!
It's pretty short, it goes:

You have a knack for understatement (exaggerate) and overstatement (kill) at the same time. I think the commenter is 12 and drunk sooo.... now you get the hilarious and famous. And of course you clearly stopped somewhere around the 5 minute mark as I did because you realized it just wasn't gonna get any better and was actually getting worse. Maybe they have special ed night at Dry Bar. I am good with wholesome entertainment but this needs to be done in nursing homes. Funny enough but nobody is going to stroke out from laughing too hard there hopefully.@@onlyinacj1

I'm crying at work on nightshift....... there are 8 people in the room wondering what's wrong with me and there are zero ways to explain.

If I was there that night...I would be able to say I got my money's worth out of the evening. Nice clean jokes that you can tell around the water cooler on Monday ... but nobody EVER gets them right.

@@3DCGdesign Some NEED to buy material if they do it on screen because you burn up material so fast. Some, like Steven Wright do it all themselves for YEARS! I bombed on stage more or less but could write but not perform. You take another comic's material you better watch your back.

I was once at a bowling ally and ordered a beer. They asked what size? I said, I will have a pint. They literally came back with we do not have that size. We only have 12oz and 16oz size beers.
Steven Wright and Mitch Hedburg vibe, good stuff. Even had a similar joke as Mitch's "At my hotel room, my friend came over and asked to use the phone. I said Certainly. He said Do I need to dial 9 I say Yeah. Especially if it’s in the number. You can try four and five back to back real quick.”
