- How do you do this? Very easy, go online and find replacement pads, and i show you how to install them.
I suggest you remove them from the head phones, before you try cleaning them in order to avoid damage to speaker and microphones.

Thanks a lot for this. The pleather cover was coming away from the foam on one of my earpads and this guide was very helpful for learning how to disassemble the headphones. Ended up gluing it back together. Much appreciated.
What kind of glue did you use?
@@oochi I used an all-purpose epoxy glue but it didn't last very long. You can purchase replacement earpads on Amazon, that's what I ended up doing afterwards.

Got new pads from amazon and so "new" headphones for a couple of years to come.
Thank you and I will never buy headphones again that have the glued seam inside the earmuffs. It split in less then a year und the cushion almost fell out :/

Thanks for the vid! Man..I got the E55BT and I ask ..why? WHY? JBL, why do you glue these pads in to the rim of the headphone..it’s not suppose to be hard to replace pads. Sennys, Bose, Sony would never do that. I actually replaced pads on a Sen and QC25..NO PROBLEM..with these? I guess they are either suppose to last forever or might meant to be disposable..gonna talk to Harman about this design enigmas

LEMRABET Anass not yet. Just make sure you wipe out all the residue of the glue from the plate before replacing the new ones.' Beats Headphones use the same pads application system. You don’t need to glue the replacements pads, but if u do you should apply a thin layer of plastic glue(my personal preference).
@@guitarontheflipside596 It is obvious that those mfs don't want us to replace the earpads (also they don't sell replacement parts for the same reason) they directly want us to buy another pair of headphones, hence making the company richer and richer

They do not match. The pins on the earpads are positioned differently between the models.
Does it same as live 500 bt?
Are the ear pads available for sale? The earpads for E55 are not compatible with E65.. I haven't seen E65 anywhere on sale

Look on Ebay, there is no original OEM earpad, but aftermarket ones.

no they won't. I ordered E55 earpads for my E65 headphones by mistake, and they do not match (the pins on the earpads have different spots than on the headphones)

Hey man thanks for the tutorial but i have a problem, you see my foams are about to rip off and as I search for a replacement for my JBL E65BTNC ear pads (like yours) in my country I couldn't find any for these foams but I did find a similar one in a online shopping site that maybe a potential replacement and that is "Po-yatu Earpads For J-B-L Eve-rest ELITE 750 750NC Wireless Bluetooth Headphone" so now I'm second thoughts if this is the actual replacement for my headset and I need advice if I should buy this or not.

Mine just got its pad scratched while i was sleeping the problem with these headphones is their ear pads which can be pulled out of the gum position so easily

verma unfortunately not. I bought some from china but its just the pads and not including the rings which are glued together. I wrote JBL a mail and they forwarded me to a local Partner from them who can fix it. You should do the same.

No, the brackets are not compatible with these, but you can find more 3rd party compatible cushions for 500bt's
