- Explaining how to replace the ear pads on the JBL headphones LIVE 650BTNC.
The ear pads are held in place with six small plastic tabs, which are located behind the ear pads.
The easiest position to start out with seems to be the lower right corner (for the left ear piece). It is reverse on the right ear piece.
I am using a pocket knife to start loosening the ear pad. Carefully wedge the blade in-between the ear pad and the plastic housing. Then twist the blade to pop pff the first plastic tab. Continue to losen the remains tabs by hand.

Hye ,where can I buy their replacement?
Provide some link.
I bought my JBL 750 BTNC off eBay for about $13 (AUD)
Where did you find the replacement ear pads? I cannot find them anywhere on Amazon. What brand were they?
JBL support said they're not available a couple months ago, they're still not as far as I can tell and support had no idea if they would ever be available. JBLsucks
JBL support sent this to me on Twitter Here it is 1 (800) 336-4525. Please provide the part numbers for faster transaction. Thanks! We only have balck earpads available for $22.24 each. Here are the part numbers Left - 08-LIVTPL-000
Right - 08-LIVTPR-000
You could only place an order through the phone for your safety.
Super 👍
Thanks, bro!
i have the same headphones, but my pads have gone torn out....how would i get new pair of pads for the same headphone ?

Excellent ❤
Where to get the replacement cushions
That's exactly what I'm looking for. I was hoping to get Velour cushions.
Maybe a bit late, but contact JBL. They dont sell these on their website, but they forwarded me to a Dutch repair webshop that works with multiple companies (I live in the Netherlands) and I just got them. Most likely there are local repair webshops who can backorder them for you, like they did for me

I know this comment was made a year ago but for anyone else who might see this, I got my replacements by tweeting JBL. They were extremely fast in responding and will send you what you need fairly quickly
@@sexualmanchocolate12 Will this work in India. Which country are you in.
hi! is it possible to just remove one to just glue back the fabric in or do you need to order new ones and change them?
Hi, I’ve glued on the fabric on my JBL headphones before and it seems to hold well.
This video shows it for a different brand, but it works in the same way: ruclips.net/video/FmBGh1-TU-o/видео.html
What is the earpad size?
Does anyone have a link to buy the replacements for this particular model or a compatible one? I can only find the 500 series and I'm not sure they're compatible. I found new earpads for the Everest 700 ,not original, they were about $9 from Hong Kong 😁 Since I'm extremely broke I'd rather have fake ones that fit !
The 500's earpads are not compatible wtih live650btnc, the brackets are totally different.
The 700 Everest earpads are sticked around and have not brackets, so maybe, maybe could stick them around 650btnc headphone speaker but i don´t know if could have sound leaking.
The Elite 700 have brackets but are different from 650btnc.
@@enriqueguerrerom.6151 thanks! Well, i might not need new pads since i wanted to replace them, my battery is playing up. It charges to 70, Maybe 90% and it only lasts for 45 minutes 😞 so i guess it's time to say goodbye to these headphones

Help, need replacement in Indonesia, couldn't find one 😭
JBL doesn't sell them anymore.
And the ones that I have found on Aliexpress doesn't fit.
I just recieved my 650BTNC. The earpieces seem pretty loose, as in they turn very easily. Any tips how to fix that? Tnx :)
Hi, I think this might be normal behavior. The ear ups of mine are also pretty lose.
From where you got them ?
@@pravinkumar7034 from Amazon
From where you got them ? can you send the link please?
HELP. I bought a pair of these but the wireless mode is not very loud, while the wired mode is significantly louder. I called customer support and we tried resetting the headphones multiple times to try to fix it but nothing. I exchanged them for a replacement pair which I just got today but I am still having the same issue. Has anyone else had this problem?
Walter Allikas I had the same problem too and thought it was just Bluetooth being lower quality than wired. Download the Jbl headphone app and pick one of the eq’s or make a custom one(not recommended lol). Preferably the Bass one and your headphones will actually sound better wireless than wired. And also download the headphone software update which is also in the app
might be your phone if you replaced them, try on laptop tablet etc to see if its the same.
From where you buyed it
Are the jbl live 500bt ear pads compatible with the 650bt's ?
Sorry, I cannot tell. I do not own the LIVE 500bt
No, the brackets are different in the 500bt.
