- Explaining how to replace the ear cushions on a JBL TUNE600 bluetooth noise cancellation headphones.
The old cushions can be removed by prying between the cushion fabric and the plastic housing behind it. There are four clips that hold the cushion in place. Check out the video for the best location to start from.
When attaching the new ear cushions, remember to consider the correct side. The right side has all the buttons, while the left side has no buttons.
Also look for the three holes on the inside of the cushions. These holes have to be lined up with the two pins and the one wire on the housing.

If you ordered a smaller cushion than the original size, its still possible to put it in (if you do not wanna spend extra on buying a new one). All you need to do is to squeeze and fit the cushion around the ring.

The new replacement cusion doesn't have the plastic clips on its back.. how do it remove it from the old one to place it on the new one?

After removing the cushions from the clip, you will need a pair of common cushions and the plastic ring on the original cushion.
the cushion is glued on it, and can't be totally removed. but you don't need to remove everything. cut the excess of fabric of the original cushion. you'll need to get the plastic ring (be careful because it's essential to work), grab it, put it inside a new common cushion. once the ring is covered by it, you just need to put it right back (attention to the noise-canceling equipment). the clips will hold it just right.
There is no secret: you need to tear it apart, get the plastic ring, put it in a new cushion, clip it back. no glue. worked perfectly and the cushions I'm using are even from another brand. it's that easy

But I don't know how to search for them.I am not a perfect english speaker and it took me few min to find a new word "cushion".I've had these headphones for 2 and a half years.I use them anywhere, gym, running outside, at my computer.I don't want to throw them to the bin.

I received the ear pad replacements from them in the past. Maybe they also have the top cushion.

can i replace the earmuffs with other earmuffs brand?
I've read you could, just make sure that the dimensions are the same and the clipping method as well, since in Sony for example, the ear pads go around a ring or something and with a elastic band or similar inside the pad, holds them on it.

@@koshaz3x I think the question is what to do when you have new ear pads which comes without round part. The video didn't show "replace ear pads", only "took off and put back the compound where one part of compound is actual ear pad".
I am not saying that the first step of replacing (shown on video) isn't important. But the second step, replacing ear pad on the round part, is quite missing.
@@kmartyCZ you're right, I my self tried to remove the plastic ring, but I'm afraid to brake it and since it doesn't come along with new ear pads, I don't want to force it.
@@koshaz3x Some news - the plastic ring is glued to the cushion, but you need it for replacement. So I tore down the old cushions and pull over the plastic ring the new ones (from here: www.aliexpress.com/item/4000694588086.html ). It works, cushions holds, but the sound is somewhat worse (noise cancellation is required now otherwise the sound sounds like plastic crucibles).
