I think this performance is better than the blood // water one. At least he's not out of sync most of the time and seemed less stressful to me. And I actually liked it. Just keep on performing and things will get better.

The rasp that I dig from the recordings isn't in the live stuff ive seen. The singer sounds like hes over compensating with the yelps & gasps at the end of ever bar... it's so cringey & exaggerated. But i think it could be easily fixed with a buzzy mic effect.

sureee... but live vocal processor/pedals exist. I'd suggest TC Helicon VoiceTone Pedals C1 & T1 or they can always bring a vintage mic that has a nice buzz to it

He’s allowed to be nervous and such. This is probably his first few times live and it’s very hard to sing live in general. Give him some time.

Are y'all deaf? This is rock n roll. Have you ever heard Aerosmith? Guns n Roses? Led Zeppelin? I looked at the comments before watching and was expecting the worst but this is what most live bands sound like. Obviously theres no processing done and maybe y'all are expecting that? I'm genuinely confused why most of the comments are negative.
He's had over performances to where they were actually good. Trust me this is bad. Very bad. He got too excited and overly optimistic and exaggerated. He needs a bit of voice training
