Open Academy Rising Stars
The Rising Stars at the Con is a dynamic performance-based music education program. The program provides gifted school-age students with specialist tuition in a supportive environment that helps develop their musical and artistic skills.
At Rising Stars, talent is identified at an early age, laying a constructive foundation for a lifetime of musical achievement. Supported by the Sydney Conservatorium of Music faculty, the program is based on proven values of quality instrumental teaching, structured academic development, regular performance and the benefits of a strong and supportive musical peer group. Student Sophia Bae is currently 10 years old and has been studying in the program under Natalia Ricci for 4 years.

LGT Young Soloists
The LGT Young Soloists are a string ensemble which draws on talented players from all over Europe. The award-winning string ensemble is made up of highly gifted young soloists from age 14 to 23 and brings together musicians from more than 15 nations. The project gives top-class young instrumentalists the opportunity to perform regularly on the world's leading stages as soloists, chamber and orchestral musicians. They are directed by violinist Alexander Gilman.
