- Thank you for watching my review of the ECOVACS DEEBOT X1 TURBO robot vacuum cleaner.
I have always used traditional hand held vacuum cleaners, and after seeing the industry change over the past few years I thought to jump in and try a robot vacuum cleaner. This ECOVACS DEEBOT X1 TURBO is great as it gives me more "me time "and less time cleaning (who doesn't love that!).
I have had this product for about a month now, and to be honest it is great. it works well and I don't really think about it too much as I have set it up to 5 times a week, so I get home after work to clean floors!.

Excellent review! Thank you for giving such a detailed demonstration. It's made it much more difficult to convince myself ...I don't want a robot vacuum/mop cleaner!🙂 I will wait for the sales!!

Do you think it can replace just a regular vacuum though? Do you sometimes have to vacuum yourself?
I would still keep your own vacuum. I set the Deepot to vacuum every morning but if my kids do a mess it’s easy to just get your hands held vacuum. But I love coming home to a freshly vacuumed house! It’s the best.
How does it work for a double story house? Do you have to move the unit to the next floor?
I had the robot for about a month now but I mainly use him downstairs as I have small steps near the bathrooms and toilet. I know it has a special sensor to stop it from falling down the stairs! So that’s amazing. Yes if you want it to mop upstairs you would have to take the unit up as it goes to it’s station to clean itself. I know people that have one on each level of their home!.
Actually all the tech and features on this robot are not new. They already have the dock that self cleaning the pads, self drying and self emptying the dust long ago. Ecovacs is fine, but it lacks on mapping and navigation compared to other brands. The app needs improvement for sure, other brands excelled in their apps. But man 2500 aud for the X1 omni, it is 1500 usd in america and around 1500-1700 and this x1 turbo is around 1300 aud in other countries. I feel like we have been ripping off badly. Everything in Australia is much more expensive than the rest of the world. 😒
This is my first Robot cleaner so I can’t compare it to others. But I’ve had it for over 2 months now and I absolutely love it! So good coming home to a vacuumed house everyday!
