    Nice review, I have this robot and I think it's good, in many ways it's the X1 Plus's little brother, I also have the X1 Plus, it has the same cleaning power as the X1 Omni but the dock does not wash the mop, it only empties the dust, actually the station for the X1 Plus is very similar to the T10 Plus. The other differences are that the T10 Plus does not have the Yiko voice assistant and it doesn't have the laser in the front, just a camera. I haven't noticed any issues with the navigation but I turn off the object avoidance on all of my robots that have it since I don't need it. I think Roborock and Ecovacs are the best brands available right now. I also have the T8 Plus which would probably be considered Ecovacs' previous generation but it's still available on their web site and again, it's a great robot.

      Hey Mike! Thanks for taking time to share you experiences with me. The T10 Plus is pretty similar to the X1 for sure. I found the X1 to be better at carpet pickup and object avoidance however, but not by much. I will have my review out for the X1 Ommi here shortly so stay tuned!

    The product line of T8, T9 (and/or Plus) have very great reputation. I've been on 2nd T8+ as my first T8+ broke its right wheel after servicing vacuuming/mopping of 550,550 SQFT - yes I do not type it wrong, it ran great almost exact 3 year of service. I returned it to Bestbuy for full refund since it had 4 years warranty. I got my 2nd T8+ from Ebay $250, brand new and it's starting again its vacuum/mop operation 6 months, , zero issue! Look forward for another 3 years on my 2nd T8+ ....
    Cheap actually very cheap to have robot to run around, vacuum and mop :) !!

    I have this vaccum cleaner and something must be wrong with the mopping on your deebot. Mine is very quiet... Can almost not hear it. Maybe you hear it more clear on quite mode... But standard and max it's difficult to hear. For the navigation... I don't think it's recommended you have the station so close to other things. I have not read about that in the manual... But my old deebot it said 0.5 meter both sides

      @@jamie.andrews I'm based in Australia and we don't have the Q5 stock here. I got the t10 plus and after using it a few times I can say the device is awesome but the software lets it down. Much like how my s5 was when I purchased it in 2018. I'm hopeful Ecovacs can fix and improve the software over time just like how Roborock did.

      @@jamie.andrewsI totally agree with you on the software. I actually ordered this vacuum straight from the manufacturer last week. I got it this past Saturday and I boxed it up a day after getting it and returning it today. I did more mapping than cleaning with this robot. This robot is a hit and miss when it comes to mapping. Sometimes I will add a wall where a wall should be and sometimes it won't add a wall where a wall should be I really wanted to love this vacuum because it has that camera that I can even use And check around the house while I'm gone. Ended up getting the eufy L50 from from Walmart so far so good on that model. Really no complaints

    Trying to decide if i want to purchase this or not. Can you tell me a couple things. Does it drag the wet mop pad across the carpet? How does the water part self empty/ fill? Does the mop pad need to be removed after each use or does it dry somehow. Thanks!

    • @jamie.andrews
      @jamie.andrews  Год назад

      It does not have a self lifting mop so it would avoid carpet if it had a mop on it. You fill it manually and clean the mop pad by hand. Take a look at my review of the X1 OMNI.

    You are not mentioning the app and software, which on my older deebot is the weakest link by far....

    • @jamie.andrews
      @jamie.andrews  2 года назад

      I did not have any real major issues with the app or I would have. The only issue I had was sometimes the app would not refresh correctly making me exit and go back in, but that could just be my phone as I did not see any reviews online mentioning this.
      I plan to do an app tutorial for ecovacs soon.
      What type of issues did you have?

    • @robertlindgren4953
      @robertlindgren4953 2 года назад +3

      @@jamie.andrewsit looses the map and starts with blank map if it can't locate. Maps get screwed after a while of by a couple of degrees and new walls are created on the map. Objects that are obscuring walls, like a sofa, if moved you will have to recreate map if you want it to clean there. You can't split a room like in roborock , doesn't clean according to the plan very good and so on.

    • @jamie.andrews
      @jamie.andrews  2 года назад

      @@robertlindgren4953 That is interesting. What model and how long ago? I have not seen any of these issues with the T10 Plus or the X1 Omni.
      I have not tested moving furniture, but I will test that before I put out the next video. I did not have any real issues splitting rooms. No more than I normally do with other manufacturers.
      One thing I did notice and it was part of the cons is the navigation is not very good or logical. It does get the hob done, but less efficiently than other robots. I tend to think that has more to do with the robot programming though.
      Thanks for the response. I appreciate feedback.

    T10 or roborock s7 is better?

    • @jamie.andrews
      @jamie.andrews  2 года назад +3

      I like them both. The T10 does have obstacle avoidance so if that is important then the T10 is the winner or step up to the S7 MaxV. The only real big downside to the T10 on comparison is the random navigation issues.

      Honestly, in my opinion I would recommend roborock over this model. It tends to be glitchy with the software for example, I accidentally divided my entryway hallway into two separate areas. When I tried to merge them back it kept popping up air. Unable to merge reset the app everything. I ended up having to reset the map to its original setup and basically redo all the rooms again

      Yes! Unless your Roborock S7 could clean 550k sqft like Ecovacs Deebot ,, Ecovacs builds with Quality , My T8+ broke when it cleaned 550k sqft as total cleaning sqft during its life , 3 years straight no problem! It broke the wheel , BestBuy paid me full price back and I got another T8+ for $250 already runs cleaning service for another 3 years!

Nothing but software glitches when trying to work with the map I ended up getting the eufy L50 from Walmart I'm on day two with that unit. So far so good and no complaints. Actually has a higher suction rating than the T10 and I love the replaceable battery
