If you unbolt the stainless worktop there are hole locations marked on the underside of the work surface, just fyi for anyone that may do the same thing, awesome boxes for the money!
When I was at the dealer our Porsche store had these exact boxes that the dealer purchased for the store. All 72s with hutch’s. None of the guys had major issues with them. They have been there for over 5 years. I like these boxes and def looking into this or HF icon.
Had mine since 2015 and still love it. Used everyday in a heavy duty diesel shop. I added the black trim as soon as it was available because the textured silver was a nightmare for me to keep clean. Funny enough I also have the same cart as you and also love it too.
I’m getting my 72 tm I would be interested in your wrench holders to fit big wrench’s in these shallow drawers. I’m going to measure my current ones and see if they’ll even fit currently🥲
Nice review! For your wrench holders I wonder if you can make it so it holds them at an angle instead of straight up to clear the drawer. Would you consider drilling new holes for the shelf to make it work for you? Might not be as clean of an install but maybe use black bolts and nuts for cosmetics.
Would you say the quality is on par if not better than the ICON? seems to be a little more expensive. Also, did you contemplate the extreme toolboxes at all?
My tool vault will be delivered tm. For me I deff wanted 30inch deep I wouldn’t want to settle for anything less. Iv seen lots of reviews saying they are terrific quality and last years no problems. The little extra money over icon I think is worth it for me. The extra space
so extreme toolboxes are the one that manufactures these. also the price is more because its a much bigger box. 30 inches deep compared to 24 or 25 inches deep. that makes a huge difference. also remember 5k gets you the bottom 72" the work top and the hutch. icon is about the same price when you include that. i do wish this box had adjustable detents like the icon however.
@@Collindrakeroh my fault, I just got into checking these out. I thought these and the extreme toolboxes were separate. I seen the 72” extreme and it has a different drawer latch system. Never the less appreciate the response, I’m currently in search of a new toolbox, I have the husky 52” that I’ve been working out of for years now and finally need something bigger

Hahaha is there really? I didn’t even flip the top over to be honest.

My only issue with harbor freight boxes is the depth.

Awesome dude! I’m glad to hear it. I didn’t know they sold black trim for this box. I want to wrap it neon yellow to be honest
@@Collindraker I had to call them to order it. It's smooth instead of that textured finish

i am working on modular wrench organizers for this scenario. i have contemplated drilling my own holes and installing riv-nuts. i may do it.
Awesome vid as always! Are you planning on making your wrench/socket organizer files available for download?
I may be. If I do, they will be purchased thru my website.

@@Collindrakerand is it only certain tool vault boxes that have that latch system like the 84”?
@@ohmy7554 a tool vault or icon will definitely be a great and noticeable upgrade from your husky.
