From.Panorama in Dima Gras, Sun. Nite , straight to d road? You really cud see any of d top tunes for d pass 5 yrs or more, driving a Jouvay crowd like long time? B true to yuhself. As ah say, Great music all rong, full mks to arrangers and players, but whe d Canivaal?
There should be a category for "Best Clown Performance by Conductors". Seriously! People are more interested in the direction of the arrangement of the song, as opposed to those guys out front who are pretending to be conductors, but end up looking like clowns anyways. This is serious business, and should be taken in that light. To the more serious musician, it comes off as a distraction, really.They would do well by following the examples of Clive Bradley and Carlton Alexander, who are Masters of the art as it pertains to directing the steel band in a more professional and less self- conscious manner.. Just an observation.

Jamaica knows nothing about Steel orchestras. The steel pan is the only instrument invented in the 20th century. it was born and bred in Trinidad.
