സൗണ്ടിനും വിഷൗൽസിനും നല്ല പ്രാധാന്യം ഉള്ള സിനിമകൾ ഇറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ നല്ല തിയറ്ററിൽ സെന്ററിൽ സീറ്റ്‌ book ചെയ്ത് fdfs സിനിമ കാണുന്ന ഒരു സിനിമ പ്രേമി എന്ന നിലയിൽ എന്നെ പൂർണമായും ഞെട്ടിച്ച ഒരു പടം ആയിരുന്നു manjummal... ഗുഹയിൽ പോകുന്ന തൊട്ട് പടം മാറുന്ന സമയത്ത് എന്റെ അടുത്ത് ഇരുന്ന ആളുകളുടെ മുഖം ഞാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരുന്നു. ആ ഞെട്ടൽ പിന്നീട് വലിയൊരു സംഘർഷമായി.. അവസാനം സുഭാഷിനെ പൊക്കി കൊണ്ട് വന്നപ്പോൾ കിട്ടിയ ഒരു സന്തോഷം അത് പറഞ്ഞറിയിക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്ത ഒന്നായിരുന്നു... ഒരു ദീർഘനിശ്വസം എടുത്തപ്പോൾ ആണ് പിന്നെ mind ഒന്ന് relax ആയത്... ഈ സിനിമക്ക് വേണ്ടി കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാവർക്കും നല്ല അവാർഡുകൾ കിട്ടട്ടെ എന്ന് ആശംസിക്കുന്നു...🤝മലയാള സിനിമക്ക് ഇത് പോലെ ഒരു മുഖം കൂടി ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് കാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്ത ഡയറക്ടർ ചിദചംബരം ആണ് great 🥰

I believe sound design and mixing is such an under appreciated department in the film industry. And majority of our people are not aware of this, is kind of sad. You get to see people appreciating Cinematography, Color grading, Bgm but not sound. It's not their fault though. I'm glad all these technicians taking much love and care to create this sound scapes. Another sad part is, most of the theatres in our country are not equipped with good calibrated sound system to showcase these films in a proper way. Trust me I heard this from a sound designer. I got really excited when we got Dolby Atmos for the first time but it was a huge let down when I experience. Hopefully, once people start to appreciate sound design as a medium and demand more good sounding screens, we will get to experience the movies even better.
PS: A lot of great sound designers and technicians are from Malayalam industries. I personally love the works of Sachin Sudhakaran (Sync cinema) and Vishnu Govind (Sound factor). Lots of love from Tamil Nadu

This movie deserves the National awards in sound & music departments over Aadujeevitham. Personally I felt Aadujeevitham sound designing/ music/ mixing flawed at Hakim's death scene. It was too overdone & irritating while watching at the theatres. Both movies had great VFX and I don't care which one wins. But in SFX, Manjummel deserves it.
