When he did not have all these gadgets his music was great....but with all these gadgets I don't feel his music has that soul any more. I like Harris Sir's music more than AR. But at the end of the day we can be misled by gadgets and affordability.

All were so poor and audio I wouldnt say was anything exceptional, coz now every other composer and new comers are doing fine job than Harris. The USP of Harris is hardly noticeable. His compositions are so boring to death, honestly.. Nothing new at all
He is one of the few composer who can match A.R.R kind of output.Had he got the opportunity to compose for Bollywood,he would have atleast given some 20 blockbuster albums in bolywood,missed a gem.He should have been a international composer by now next to Rahman from India.

The funny thing is after getting this he is not longer signing up for any new movies... may be this console brought him bad luck i guess. But it looks drop dead gorgeous love that vu meters I wish the lights were white though.
Harris ji , very nice but we don't have properly tuned cinema theatre in india to enjoy your music. Almost all cinema halls pvr play nonsense high db levels just concentrating in 500-4k hz range. Low end is either boomy and seat shattering and highs are ear piercing. Name one single theatre with properly tuned audio system in india... Open question to all audiophiles
Its an analog console. It gives fullness warmth and saturation kind of typical analog textures in your audio that you don't have to emulate while mixing in a DAW. Mixer in DAW s are like an emulation of physical console. Consoles like 5088 comes with best pre and channel strips which you cannot find in DAW mixers.
