In today's video we are looking at Gemini Ruling the 8th house within the Natal Birth Chart (through the lens of intimacy, trauma and transformation) - I am doing all 12 signs, so whenever all are uploaded, go to whichever sign rules the 8th house cusp for you!

Having listened to this again it is so accurate to me. From having negative dark thoughts, bullying as a child. to not being listened to as a child. Being seen as different, weird etc. Control from teachers, family, even friend's. Physical, verbal abuse. Anxious about having fun in case something bad would happen. Being criticized for being self expressive and so on but I always had a deep desire/need to be a free spirit. My life was certainly colourful and did live the free spirit life. I could never make a long term commitment in relationships and now choose to live alone with my undemanding Dog, Fergus. PS Hannah, your knowledge on astrology is truly great. I have an 8th house Scorpio rising with pluto in the first house. I definitely resonate with this video. It made me tear up because I didn’t realize this is where it came from where I hid my logical experiences. It helped to revisit those experiences and see them for what they were. I did get picked on because of my voice growing up, I was also made to feel like I shouldn’t speak a lot, I had a sudden relocation from one place to a different one/culture shock, I was in a car accident that happened bc I lost consciousness, and I was also in relationships that were very controlling and I was made to feel stupid and material things were Involved as part of the wounds I have. I always felt like I couldn’t trust my mind.

Spot on.... Taurus in 7th and Mercury in 7th .The part about traumatic experiences with in friendship and relationship , I have problems of vulnerability .... I hate it because it were times I was vulnerable they took advantage of me and hurt me. In my Western Sidereal Chart (which I do relate to more than the tropical system), I have Gemini 8th house and Mercury in Scorpio conjunct Pluto. I'm also having Pluto transit my 3rd house at the moment and it's just been joined by Saturn. I can't help but feel I'm about to go through another mental overhaul lol. You definitely hit the nail on the head I feel like you're literally were like talking directly to me I laughed when you laughed especially at the end with being able to communicate at the first signs of like jealousy before it gets out of hand I totally was laughing. I moved around a lot once a year I was very disconnected to my family even my siblings I felt like nobody ever wanted me around I was bullied in elementary I remember recess there was nobody that wanted to play with me not even one kid and that got thrown in my face. I'm starting to study the whole house system and I stumbled upon this video bc everything astrology I kinda find on your channel😂😂 and I have always really resonated with Scorpio and 8th house energy and I found put that in whole sign house system I have lots of 8h energy specifically my moon sign is Gemini in the 8h and it's crazy bc everything you said here I resonated with so much more then I do with my moon being in 7h in placidus house system these things have been reoccurring throughout my life and never quite made sense to me but now I realize why I resonate so strongly with Scorpios and 8h energy im excited to learn more about the whole sign house system bc I find it related alot better to people personalities in my life so far that I've seen

I was once with a Gemini where the majority of his 8th house was ruled by GEM, but his Sun already in the 9th house, yet Venus/Mercury conj. in the 8th still.
What you're saying absolutely 'hits home' 💥... while myself being a Scorpio-Sun, designated to the 8th house in general.
When you just mentioned 'insecurities' in such a relationship, well ....
Gemini is a 'dual sign' while ruled by Mercury (the trickster in GEM), often not really knowing themselves, because of the fickle mind.
Out of my perspective there are exactly two signs in the zodiac, and those are GEM and PIS, that can develop paranoia when it comes to projecting, i.e. seeing things in regards to others that are plain wrong! ... hence, their own mind and 'the movie' they are creating, it ends up deceiving them, then coming-across insincere and dishonest to the other.
Anyway. - What I just became aware of is, that the 8th and also the 6th house, they may be blind-spots for everyone, no matter what sign rules these houses, because they are both 150° (inconjunct) from the Ascendant. I often wondered why it was especially hard for me to see my own 8th house dynamics, how I operate in that field, i.e. how I might appear to the other when 'individual chemistries' build a synastry forming an entire 'different picture' - conditioning each other - whereas the 6th house 'blind-spot' may be more of that what one allows oneself to take-on from the outside-world, asked to contribute, or better not in order to avoid burn-out, but to stay healthy and afloat.

Cusps don’t exist. There’s no blending in astrology. Many professional astrologers have said cusps don’t exist. Please check out Maren Altman’s videos on cusps. You cannot have two sun signs. You’re one or the other. If you FEEL like the other sign you obviously have some placements in that sign.

Scorpio-1, Gemini-8 here. Been married 16 years, 2 kids and 0 intimacy. My wife will have no physical contact with me due to past trauma, and as a result I don’t want to touch her at all. It’s hard for me to even hug her; very uncomfortable for me. If it weren’t for our 2 sons I would have left years ago. And if the opportunity to cheat came along, I’d be all over it. Sad, really. It’s not at all how I envisioned my marriage to go. At this point we’re roommates with kids.
