I struggle with adapting to our modern hook up culture. I can't and won't seek any interactions/relationships because of this. Omg, I'm the exact same way. I have a very hard time adapting to modern culture. At this point, it gives me headaches to see it on any social media platform. I had to disconnect from social media and find other accounts that inspired me instead of drain me. I don't like too many modern culture things. Authentic people are what I've been looking for and want to be around my whole life. No materialistic crap and authentic relationship/friendships.

Yeah Aquarius on the 8th... with my neptune in Aquarius in the 8th as well (opposite my moon yey). Constantly struggling between wanting to give myself up for someone else and never wanting to be less than an individual in relation to someone else. Constantly struggling with: I so wanna merge with you, all of my being and become one with someone but on the other hand fear of losing myself, but I mean, I still really want to. But in relation to issues of others it does help I think, because I feel like I can give them all the empathy and understanding in the world that they need, I literally feel their pain, but in the end I'm also able to see everything from an objective point of view and hopefully give logical advise. I want to give my everything to someone else, but I'm always afraid that they wouldn't understand me or that it'd be too much for them. It's isolating, really. Always feeling you're able to deeply connect with others in the way that you totally understand them, mind and emotions, but that that could never be reciprocated
but maybe all my 12th house planets (sun, mars, mercury, venus) play into that as well 🤷♀️

This is insanely accurate. Thank you for this. I have my sun/moon/saturn in the 8th house. Sun is 2 degrees Pisces otherwise the moon & Saturn are in Aquarius. I am so grateful that you have drawn awareness to the detachment to trauma and bringing distance to others by associating too much with a group or association...this was a piece I needed to put together.

OMG! Spot on... I can’t thank you enough, I have been struggling with this detachment in relationships for so long. I have disassociated to observe in effort to work it out. Now I can name it, so to speak. There was definitely a lot of deep weirdness in me (Neptune in Scorpio in 5th and Sun in Pisces in 8th too) that was squished as a child until I became a people pleaser and a pleasure to be around. But, on the inside I was a turbulent mess.
Thank you again , now I feel I have something to work with and can be more gentle with myself. I find it ironic that my mother who was a strong Virgo with Aquarius moon had managed to suppress so much within me while I had a father who had all his personality planets (except his moon, Libra) in Scorpio 😳 I would say that as I was closed down he became scary as he was mirroring my suppressed 8th and 5th houses... makes so much sense... time to reframe Scorpio and stop demonising it. I have an adventure ahead 😂

I have never felt so understood. I enjoy relationships situationship sex, but even though I long for something long term my emotions block people out before it gets serious. It’s so intense I have to shut them down. And outwardly I try to justify it by thinking I don’t need it at all or that they had too much flaws.

I'm just so amazed how well you articulate exactly what the hell my insides are going through. I respect THE **ck out of relationships, I can't just jump into 'em... I know the capacity it takes to have and build a great one and that's what I want. Annoyingly, I don't take sex so lightly either 😩
Finally a source I can go to as an answer of why I just stood in front of my crush and not saying anything even when there was so much I wanted to say as they told everyone to give us space. My parents..well- no one had ever taught me how to show face situations like this.
Aqua in the 8th: Sun, Mercury, Venus, Uranus, & Neptune. I never feared my own mortality as far back as I can remember, and I feel excited in cemeteries because everyone there knows things we earth-dwellers do not. Also, I am pretty selectively into making myself feel uncomfortable. It's come to my full attention recently that I think I might be addicted to being uncomfortable. :)
My Mercury is in Capricorn as well as my Retrograded Venus (still in the 8th house though).
I have Aquarius in my 8th house with Neptune and Jupiter. My 5th house cusp in Scorpio with my sun and Pluto also in the 5th house, but in Sagittarius.

Aquarius & Gemini are both at a loss on how to handle intense emotions , even though they feel for the person they don't know what to do. very enlightening about the fears of this placement and how progressive this placement is. I can relate to needing time alone and loving your freedom. I agree it is more beneficial to build friendship for intimate relationship and to each his own no body has the right to judge who you want to be intimate with even if its the same gender.

Wow this resonates so well. I have 8H Aqua stellium (sun, mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus) and my father has been in and out for most of my life (in mainly due to paternal grandparents input otherwise would likely have never had a relationship). Mars in Libra in 4H also which is a struggle lol. I’ve been learning astrology for 2 years now and only the past year have I focussed on houses and AC/DC/IC/MC so still fairly new to me but I’m amazed by the accuracy of the houses etc. Thanks for the video 💖

Aquarius in the 8th house planets involved are venus, Uranus, Neptune, and mercury. My taurus moon is in the 11th house and my cancer rising is in 6th house. I get in moods where I can be very affection by giving hugs or cuddling up to my bestfriend or hold hands but most times im like no id perfer not to be or have someone else all on me. I usually keep to myself though in relationships and I do have commitment issues.

Yes this was very good and quite accurate, I'm a Capricorn Sun, Aquarius in my 8th house, Scorpio Moon, Uranus, 5th house, Capricorn 7th absent father @ 2 years old, Cancer Rising. I do have trouble expressing my feelings mainly because I have too much feeling...but I also at times don't care about someone's feelings. I am very investigative as well. All is spot on!

Wow this was very accurate for me. Im a scorpio, I have gemini rising, but 5th scorpio 7th sag/ cap 8th aquarius. I crave romantic intamacy yet the closer I get to people the more I detach. Very frustrating, yet the only people I feel I can be deeply intimate with mentally, emotionally etc are Aquarians.... and yes I was told to simmer down my personality and opinions alot growing up...
for me it’s more about them be able to do the same for me if I go outside of my comfort zone and do those things for them. I never like to detach from anyone but I’m either in 100% or not at all because it’s to draining to be both. Especiallywith all the other complications of my love. That’s so true about doing my own thing. She said, “I want to spend 1 on 1 time with you.” I look at her like there is blank in my eyes and say, “so what you are saying is that you want to head lock me into submission so that you can tame me?!? What are you trying to do? CAPTURE ME? I can NEVER be captured. I want to be free” Thanks to my Aries in mercury, I speak quite forcefully and moon in Leo..., kinda dramatic about it. But it’s true that I’ve locked myself up for a long time because I felt like I wasn’t normal. And because I did that I’ve became depressed. Until one day I loved myself more than anyone’s opinion, and I finally broke the chains and became me. My Identity, my weird personality. I just didn’t care about anyone’s opinion.

OMG!! Aquarius 8th house with Pisces sun I have intimate issues and it kills me! Because I want to be more intimate so bad and I explain that to him that my mom never really showed intimidation in front of me as a kid I never seen her kiss her husband nor hug which hes a Virgo 8th house which he understands but I can tell it bothers me .
