Yeah, if you get first in every event, you're wrecking the competition. If you get third in every event, you're being wrecked. But what does it say if you're getting second in every event? I'm pretty sure Shelly is the only Guts contestant who ever did that (or at least she was the first one).
Petitioning for points next season to be the competors final total score. Each individual game would have big differential potential for big swings

I agree. But I’ve been doing a spreadsheet using each of the scoring systems for the different seasons (plus total points). No matter the system. The results would have been the same.
They've completely fudged the most basic math, I can't imagine how off the scores would be with these guys trying to keep track of 4 digit numbers.

At 6:35 “Mr. Do-Too-Much” is on all fours while the players are swiping the balls off the wall. I always notice this guy even when the guys don’t, and he is always extra and thinking the crowd is watching him. He was high fiving the guy next to him lol.
The guys miss a lot of extra shenanigans from the workers every episode. Sometimes two of the helpers are doing just really corny choreographed dance moves before an event starts

The infamous trade from last season made all three teams gun shy from pulling the trigger on a trade 😢😂
If they switch to having a bonus point for the krag winner that would provide some extra incentive for trades
Gotta be the scoring
the way the draft order was done also hurt trade chances. There should definitely be a rule where if you get two no. 1s in a row, you're automatically out from getting a 3rd no. 1 pick on the next random draw. this spreads out the no. 1 picks and stops people from being gun shy.

Get somebody to extract the "spill your guts" segments and put them ahead of the draft as a scouting report. Think about how much more interesting the discussion would be over judging the kids based purely on appearance!
I saw someone suggest this a while back, and I think it's a cool idea.

These are correct. They gave JoeZack 750 pts this episode instead of 725. Jimmy's score has been 25 pts too low for several episodes now. Jake's final score was correct.
Using simple 2-1-0 scoring, it's 10 to 8 to 6.
Jimmy literally said that he gave Jake 750 for his 1st place finish by mistake last episode, then proceeded to give Joezack 750 for their win in this episode…

I've been a barstool/MLW guy forever, really just started watching Jomboy because of the warehouse games but mostly because of the MLW players being included in the first warehouse games. Absolutely love that Jomboy is going to blitzball events and being included in the rankings. I know it's weird to post this in a playin guts video But these guys bring something other brands don't that I love.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think “Does Too Much” Spotter is great and adds a lot of excitement to the show.

They still messed it up. Jimmy should tie if he's first and JoeZack is third. Likewise, if Jake was first and Jimmy was 3rd, they'd tie for second.
The episode started with JoeZack at 4025 (which is correct); Jimmy at 3825 (which is 25 pts too low), and Jake at 3700 (which is 25 pts too high). Using 2-1-0 scoring this would be 8 to 7 to 6.
The episode ended with JoeZack at 4775 (which is 25 pts too high because they received 750 instead of 725); Jimmy at 4375 (which is 25 pts too low), and Jake's correctly having 4050. Using 2-1-0 scoring this would be 10 to 8 to 6.
You can convert from simple 2-1-0 scoring to Crag scoring by multiplying the number of games by 375 and their simple score by 175.
JoeZack have 10 pts in 2-1-0 scoring. 8 * 375 + 10 * 175 = 3000 + 1750 = 4750.
Going the other way, Jake correctly has 4050 -> (4050 - (8 * 375))/175 = 1050 / 175 = 6.
While it's hard to eyeball whether players' Crag scoring total is correct, you can tell there is an error if the difference between the players is not divisible by 175. Jimmy cannot be 325 ahead of Jake, nor 400 pts behind JoeZack. Those should be 350 points. In summary:
JoeZack: 10
Jimmy: 8
Jake: 6
Naturally next season they should do 5437 for first, 4128 for second, and 2819 for third
