    Nice review. I just got a 6X Pro. If you're not obsessed with having the latest and perhaps the greatest now is a great time to buy one. As the new 7 model should be released soon. I got a great Black Friday deal. Hopefully it will get a few years use.
    All the Fenix line cost a fortune on release and for quite a while afterwards. They still cost a fortune now but far less! I don't buy the sapphire versions but do add a screen protector. I also and one of those cheap plastic cases. Not for everyone as they do look a little cheap but they protect the bezel.
    I would advise getting a screen protector though as Gorilla glass can scratch. They reckon it's okay to use them on the solar versions too but I can't speak to that.

    • @TysonWright
      @TysonWright  3 года назад +1

      Thanks mate! Yeah the 7 will be good, but priced a bit higher I think, so if you can wait for a sale the 6 is still a good buy!

    I'm so glad the 7 will finally have touch screen. I have the 6 plus and it is a pain in the ass to use... and so non intuitive. Seriously whoever designed the functionality is not the sharpest tool in the shed. For non touch screen every function should be under just one button tab... so when you click on it it's all there then you could drill down draper into each... but it's spread all over. I really can't stand this watch... other than the GPS function... which is still a pain in the ass to use... but if you can get it to work right it will help you to not get lost in the wilderness. It's so much easier to use a navigator on a touch screen phone such as ONX when hunting back woods. You just click a couple things and good to go but on this no touch screen watch it's painful. Would I pay double for the 7. No because im not going to pay $600 for any watch... so guess I'll suffer with the 6 pro that I bought for $250... but I'd take the 7 over this any day for touch screen option...

      Yep, but no idea when that’s going to be released especially with the shortages in tech since covid. But even so, I can imagine the Fenix 7 will be priced pretty high and the Fenix 6 goes on sale very often so it still is a good time to buy

    Do you know if there is away to put a Satnav in with postcode so you can find it on the map and go there easier rather than going into maps and moving around ?
    thanks

      There are 3rd party apps you can install that can assist with that, I’ve never used them but believe you can input the address on your app and it sends it to the watch
