      Only my first time, and also the first time I tried sativa, I greened out for about a minute, the best I can describe is when it was the sativa, it felt like I hit the bong on GTA and the affect it gives, for the indica, I was paranoid felt like I was in space, but I slept it off, never felt neither of them again

      I’ve been smoking for about 15 years and about a year ago it started hitting different. For me the only thing that freaks me out is my heart rate

    I had a buddy back in 2020, literally mid pandemic, who got way too high and called doctor on demand and asked if it was possible to die from too many bong rips. The doctor was quiet for a minute and said, “If you have already had Covid then yes you can”. My buddy damn near lost his shit until the doctor laughed and said, “no lightweight you’ll be fine”. His roommate was there to confirm this actually happened.

      I had covid and found all my previous issues with asthma weren't around during my bout with covid, it's almost as if the normal immune response just shut off, so tbh it was the best I'd felt in so long, like my lungs felt clear, and strong, and had no wheezing or breathing issues, before I got it, I had horrible lungs, now my lungs are bad but honestly feel better than before I had it, and I smoked the whole time I had it lol

    My worst high ever was from a 1000mg edible. At the time i was pretty casual consumer. The high lasted 14 hours, and felt the effects for 3 days. For the first 9 hours i couldnt do anything except being paranoid, staring blank at the ceiling and shaking like i had a bad fever.
    10/10 would do again

    One thing that might explain the sugary drink thing: I generally get really bad nausea if I'm more than incredibly lightly stoned and haven't eaten anything recently. Grabbing a small snack along with my hydration pre-sesh seems to help a ton. (As does cleaning my bong every day.) Turned out I wasn't getting too high, just hypoglycemic, and the effects were being exaggerated by being high.

    I remember I took a tolerance break and came back with a huge dab followed by my only panic attack to date, though I was going to die. I searched up "how to be less high" and soon found myself laughing at the fact I was in my kitchen at 2 AM smelling black pepper. Then I fell asleep.

      I'll never forget my first pot induced panic attack. Was about 20 years ago. I was making tacos in the middle of the night, I wound up putting the lettuce in the cupboard where the shells go and put the shells in the refrigerator instead of the lettuce. I found the lettuce in there a few days later all brown and wet and shit. Ever since, smoking pot is a game of panic attack Russian roulette. I've just learned with age how to navigate it better when it happens.

    Eating a black peppercorn has historically saved me from some of those really anxiety inducing instances. I have horrible existential dread sometimes when I'm high and for some reason that black peppercorn thing seems to actually work

    Be calm, remember that you are NOT going to die or have a heart attack (despite feeling like you may have one), lay down, take a shower or take a relaxing bath, drink WATER, BREATHE, eat a heavy meal and take a nap afterwards, or take a CBD edible. CBD edibles will calm the paranoia if you're experiencing any. Stretch. Don't do things to make the high worse, like drinking or doing any other substance. You'll make it through buddy! 💗 This is nothing but a learning experience and now you know what not to do next time and you know your limit!

    What I’ve found to always work for me and other people, is to drink water and to just focus on your breathing. Focusing on your breathing can distract someone from what’s causing them anxiety and supply more oxygen to the brain making it easier to calm yourself down to collect your thoughts. Just remember folks… everything’s fine, you’re just high asf

      He never managed to use it this way however, as he smoked assiduously through every day. He said he wished he could use it once a week for the psychedelic effects on a low tolerance, but he claimed that he simply used it “for other reasons.“

    Here's a pro tip for you, if you get too high off of THC, smoke CBD and you will balance out the high it won't get rid of the high but it will balance it out so you're not paranoid. I always use high hemp wraps which have CBD added to them for this very reason because I'm very prone to paranoia from THC.

    I have panic disorder but still smoke daily which can be a bad combo. If I’m home, a nice warm shower helps me more than anything. The anxiety triggers tight muscles to where I’m shaking, and I feel cold. It’s hard not to be comfortable in a warm shower. But I’ve also heard a ton of people attest to this. Try it out if you need!

    Dude I remember one especially savage session with my old bong, William Bongenheimer. I ended up comatose curled up in the comforter, and decided to watch some regular show because that always gets me giggly and jovial. Unfortunately my dumb ass decided to watch the Halloween special with the fucking doll that draws on your face. I somehow convinced myself the whole thing was a metaphor for elder abuse in nursing homes and I was so upset. Bad times, bad times.

    I try to get as high as my first few times. I can’t anymore. I used to get STUPID high. I wasn’t just on another planet, I was in another solar system. I miss that. Now if I wanna get to the moon, I can’t even get that high. I just barely hit earths atmosphere

    I think its funny what you said about the hospital staff. As a person who worked in the ER for several years I can personally say, it is completely up to whether the providers have smoked weed before. The ones who have either thinks its funny or coach them through it and the ones who haven't sometimes still have that stigma of weed is bad and just completely dismiss the patient or sometimes even discharge them right there. I did have a patient once though that was super against weed and while baby sitting, didn't know that the ice cream in the fridge was homemade weed ice cream and was freaking the fuck out thinking she was poisoned till someone told her she was just high.

    I feel like the people you have around you are so important. One time I was so extremely high and all it took was one person to throw the vibe off a bit and I was in a hell dimension for a bit I had to just lay on the floor and ride it out lol. If I ever plan to get so zooted again I’m not having any sober people around

    A bunch of those suggestions you found on the internet are things that can help anyone who is having an anxiety/panic attack. In my experience getting "too high" can often lead to someone having a panic attack especially if they are prone to them in the first place. I have a couple to suggest myself that really help me when I find myself in that situation. One trick is to put an ice pack over your eyes. This triggers your bodies natural dive response (basically it tricks your body into thinking you are underwater) which helps naturally slow down your heart rate and breathing. Another is smoking CBD flower. CBD is a THC agonist which means that it blocks THC receptors in your endocannabinoid system forcing your body to process the THC slower. It basically chills out your high a little bit but prolongs the length of the high because your body takes longer to process all the THC. Also CBD is good for easing anxiety in general.

      yep, i use cbd to sleep on the nights i don’t smoke. got too high and remembered this, rushed to my cbd cart and hit it a few times, basically instantly worked. it’s like narcan for weed, just saves you from panicking

    I had exactly two times a bad trip on weed and they both were caused by edibles. The first time I ate weed was on a pizza. We were 6 people and everyone was supposed to get a slice. Im not 100% sure but I think we used 3g and mixed it into to the tomato sauce so everyone would have a slice with ~500mg. 2 friends decided to quit because they were too anxious, they smoked instead. So instead of being 6 people we ended up being only 4. I was pretty much a "hardcore stoner" back then, and since I was pretty hungry I was confident enough to eat the other two slices that were meant for the other two. So I ate ~1.5g of weed. Oh boy, that was a trip which was more intense and lasted longer than any acid trip Ive ever had. I was so scared like never in my life before. It was like seeing not through my own eyes but through the eyes of a stranger. For almost 2 hours I constantly thought Im getting crazy. My brain really started to hurt in a mental way (like it was under electrical influence). All the time I thought it would collapse. The only thing I told myself for hours was "no one ever died on weed, and Im not gonna be the first one". After hours of having a bad trip it eventually became bearable, but still not a good trip. The second time I ate edibles were cookies. I ate one of them and they had ~250mg in it. Lesson learned: I only ate one. The high from that cookie wasnt even too overwhelming and intense. If Id smoked it, it wouldve been a solid high. But in the back of my mind there was always this little fear and I was thinking "please dont be as heavy as the first one". This caused a few panic attacks to come up, but I managed to calm down every time they were coming up. So it wasnt as bad as the first one but still not a satisfying experience. So Ill never eat edibles anymore and stick to smoking it instead.
    AND I had a bonus bad trip. This one wasnt caused by weed but by LSA. It was legal at the time I took it so I thought it must be not very potent, so instead of the one recommended capsule I decided to take 4. We were only 2, me and my cousin. I had lots of fun with the nice colors and patterns that I saw when I closed my eyes. So after a few minutes of enjoying my trip with these patterns and colors I wanted to ask my cousin if his was as good as mine. I was waiting for his response with my eyes still closed. He didnt reply. So asked a second time… still, he didnt reply. After a few seconds of wondering why he doesnt reply I rapidly ripped my eyes open and a sudden fear flowed through my body because I thought hed be dead. I slapped his face but he did not do a single move. I almost started crying but suddenly he started laughing. He thought it would be funny to pretend like he passed away while I was on an overdose of a psychedelic drug. This caused a bad trip that lasted at least 2 hours…

    Certain strains or batches of weed sometimes give me anxiety. I know for sure it’s certain ones bc if I smoke something that doesn’t and then take even one hit of the suspected batch, I start getting an anxiety feeling in my gut and body. Thankfully found that chewing a few black pepper corns with some water (the water makes them easier to chew and not hurt your teeth as bad) with in ten minutes the anxiety is gone BUT I am still high af and able to enjoy it. Has been a game changer! I notice as soon as the spice taste from the pepper in mouth is gone is about how long it takes to kick in. I haven’t found sniffing pepper to do anything, I take between 3-10 pieces of peppercorn and have grown to like the taste 😋

      Btw the anxiety feeling is more of a body feeling, not in my head. I do feel uncomfortable with the feeling like would with pain in my body, but not like having racing thoughts (tho it could lead to that bc I’m uncomfortable). It’s like I feel like I want to run around or something. I always carry a little jar a peppercorns with me everywhere and take some after first hits of the day, even if it’s a strain/batch I know is good. Even tho it works for me it might effect everyone else differently!

      too much THC A in it because it was harvested too early. Check your flowers with a x60-x100 magnifying glass and check for cloudy amber trichomes, dont smoke anything with clear trichomes, it's not ready and theres too much THC A. Typical new grower commercial issue.

      @@paddington1670 You do know what THC-A is, right? Because this is so wrong it's insane you said it with confidence, especially considering it contradicts itself. An amber colour means that the amount of THC-A and other compounds are at their peak in a plant, which means it's more potent and thus more likely to cause anxiety as you have more THC per a certain amount of dried product.
      All of the THC in bud is THC-A until you heat it by smoking, vaporizing, or applying direct heat, all of which decarboxylates the THC-A into THC making it psychoactive. This is why if you make an edible and don't decarboxylate it in a separate step and just do the oil extraction, you'll get a minimal effect having effectively wasted it as it will just be pissed out as THC-A. Same reason why they sell THC-A crystals for smoking/vaping/dabbing instead of taking the extra steps and time to convert it to THC as that happens any way when you intake it with a method that applies heat.

    I’ve never really been crazy anxious my “too high” moments are just when I needa do actual important stuff and I can’t concentrate I’ll just get nauseous or dizzy. Just completely uncomfortable. But if I don’t have shit to do there won’t be a care in my mind and I’m chillin

    I have this trick that I always do when I'm too high and I have to talk to someone or do something. I say, "1, 2, 3, STRAIGHTFACE!" not necessarily out loud, but in my head, then i just like shake my head back and forth and try to make a neutral expression. I have no clue why this stupid trick works for me, but it just does.

      When I was too high (on my first time) I felt safety in the fact I had my phone light beside me (as I was in pitch black) and it felt like whenever I shone light it reduces the anxiety/makes my situation more real and less stressful so I panic less, seemed to work.

    There’s something to be said about consuming something with sugar. A couple pieces of hard candy, and my high crashes almost instantly. Jolly Ranchers may not be the best choice with cotton mouth and paranoia, though it would certainly keep your mind focused on something other than being too high.

    my issue with weed and the reason i basically stopped is because once I hit the age of 25 I started getting a bad feeling in my gut, like a mix of guilt and anxiety. It really sucks because it was the only vice I enjoyed, never really liked alcohol or anything else. I just start thinking about a bunch of shit in my life present or past and it consumes me. I mean its good for the fact it makes me want to fix things in my life and be a better person. but its not a good feeling to say the least.
    I wish I knew how to fix this, its been several years now and it persists. Even just one hit does it to me... wish I knew how to remedy this. but the plus side is I enjoy sober life much more nowadays.

    Personally for me it’s alcohol. Works wonders. CBD flower also helps curve the anxiety too. :)

      Self medicating for anxiety with alcohol is what led to my 10 year alcohol addiction I am just now within the last year actually addressing. It works great at first but wait until you wake up with a bad case of jitters. Then you can take a shot in the morning to get rid of it. Great way to live take it from me.

    I know a way to kill a really strong high. You see it is about CB1 receptors and a little chemical already found in pot called CBD. If you go buy a CBD vape and then get super high. If you start puffing on the CBD vape your high will just get weaker and weaker until it is gone. CBD bonds to CB2 primarily, but it also has some affinity to CB1, the receptor the THC bonds to. If you intake a massive amount of CBD your high will go bye bye. I get zero negative side effects from any flower or extract. But for folks that do, this does work for me and a few others I tested it on. I mean and I knew it would have some effect the first time I tried it, I am decent with biology, I just did not expect it to work so well.

    I would highly recommend peppercorns, if you ever start freaking out from being too high just eat one and in like 2 Mins it would literally stop the high, although some people may not like this bc it does pretty much waste money since it stops the high completely:)

    One thing that always helps me if I’m too high is focusing on taking big long breathes in through the nose out through the mouth. I would also say talking to yourself and telling yourself everything is gonna be alright

    i don't know how "phoning a friend" works for some people but i had the worst trip yesterday by doing this. i was so damn paranoid even the most negligible things my friend was telling me (like in september its his sons birthday🤣🤣) made me lose my mind even more because i was imagining things ( like, the world "so, my friend" has conspired to kill me or random shit like that) to the point of hallucination. the best thing it was to be alone just chilling and relax, so yea i agree with this video.

    I usually have lemonade and orange juice in my fridge and I typically pour half and half of each if I get “greened out” but honestly when I get too high I just meditate and it typically subsides and I’m able to compose myself

    I have a story of when I got so high I quit for a year lol
    So during the lock down I was taking multiple bong rips every single night and I’d watch a show or a movie. I felt like I was smoking a lot recently and I decided to take 1 day breaks in between my smoking. After the first day of not smoking, I took 1 bong rip with my friend and I made sure to take a smaller one so that i wouldn’t get blasted… the exact opposite happened. After the bong rip something felt off. I felt out of breath, I had pressure on my chest and I felt my hands sweating and going numb. I thought I was having a heart attack or something. We were playing 2k and I had to pause the game. I kept telling my friend “I’m really fucking high” and “somethings wrong”. I started to sweat and lose my breath and my hands were so numb to a point where I couldn’t open my palms. I remember even suggesting that maybe the weed was laced but it wasn’t cus my friend smoked it and he was fine. We went down stairs and I remember having to hold on to the railing because I felt like I was gonna fall. I felt dizzy and weak. We sat down and watched star war and I hugged my dog for so long. Eventually I felt better and we got back to playing 2k but fuck that was the worst experience I’ve had with weed and I never knew I could even feel like that from it. It scared me so much that I took a year off from smoking cus every time I’d smoke, I’d get those same feelings creeping in that I did when I had my panic attack. Recently I’ve been smoking again but I toned it down a bunch. I smoke just to get me feeling right and no more.

    I would agree that a lot of it is in your head. I've had friends get too stoned at my apartment. They're about to start freaking out. I brought them water and popsicle. The water and popsicle kept their minds busy. My gf went through 3 popsicles. Lol but once she stopped focusing on how she felt... next thing she knew she came down enough that it was manageable.

    In my experience drinking water or any type of beverage causes the high to lessen because thc passes through your urine.
    Also eating pepper corns or drinking them seems to offer almost instantaneous relief.
    This tip only seems to work when the lungs are the delivery method.
    When taking edibles pissing does not seem to offer the quick come down.

    The best thing you can do is relax. When you smoke and get really high, your heart rate goes up really high. This makes you feel sick and nervous and can be what causes people to freak out. The key is to just wait out the first 15. In that 15 you will hit your peak and you won't get any higher. And after that initial hit, your heart rate will come down and you will feel better

    Great tips for low tolerance/getting too high. In the Early days i definitely took some HEAVY bong hits that took me way too far beyond 😂. Also Cewpins i know you mess with that king of the hill i do heavy too. Have you heard the Hank hill rapper, Hank Trill? 🔊

    Coffee and just chilling out for a bit should do u good. If u have to lay down do that. If you’re in a rush to do something pace yourself and take your time. Your safety is more important than whatever you gotta do. Take your time in general and it should help you come down and calm down

    Taking CBD might help bring you down if you're too high. I am not sure if it actually does but CBD is said to decrease some of the more psychoactive effects of THC. High-CBD strains, even if there's a good % of THC in there, have a shittier, lesser high if any at all..

    Nah the thing I hate the most when I’m high asf and start buggin out and when my friends are trying to do a bunch of stuff because maybe they have a higher tolerance than me and what they feel is completely different than me. They may be pumped up and ready to run around where as I’m ready to fall asleep or am freaking out. They wanna go on walks and go out and do stuff and I don’t wanna do any of that bc it’s gonna trip me out even more than I already am. Maybe it’s sensory overload or something like that. Seeing to many things going on at once in public and that paranoia that Everyone knows your high or people are just looking at you.

    Laying down and listening to music that has a slow beat/rhythm so your heart beat can match it. 10 seconds breathing in, 10 out. Keeping your eyes closed so you don’t feel dizzy

    Happened with me yesterday. I drank Delta 8 seltzer and boy oh boy, it was a panic attack for two fucking hours. So I was breathing and reasoning with myself, like, Yana, no one EVER died because he drank Delta 8 seltzer, it's all in your head, RELAX. So I was my own sitter, hahaha.     if you're greening out honey works good too. If you're blood sugar is low and you smoke, it will lower it even more so anything with a fuck ton of sugar will make you feel better, not much but its for sure noticeable.

    There is something that happens I've never heard anyone talk about, when I consume to much cannibus my heart rate spikes! Nothing I do stops it, no goofy tips or mental gymnastics work it just happens! I've tried everything including making sure I'm well hydrated ot doesn't works. I've gotten to where I carry around a pulse/ox meter when I partake, so I can constantly be aware of my heart rate. What I think is important here is that I believe it happens to more people than people realize and eople don't think to moniter their heart rate or don't have a pulse/ox meter with them so they never catch it and waste time trying to remedy the situation!

    Pretty much. Also the vitamin c specifically in oranges can help curb it, it’s really I think more of a smell and taste thing and the experience helps more than anything, that some water or juice and a good familiar show is normally what I do. If it’s too bad try to sleep it off if you can.

    I like never smoke, but when I bought like prerolls from my friend a while back I smoked a joint at a time and always was like "wow, this doesn't feel quite right" and when I was down to the last two, I realized that I was able to get high normally off smoking 1/5th of the roll

    I always just tell myself that it's normal and I'm not going to die. And within the next couple hours when I come down, I will most likely be hitting the cart or smoking a joint, so it must not be that bad. I have a low tolerance though, so if I take too too much then I'm basically screwed.

      I do too. There is a point where I'm kicking ass doing really well. Then a few minutes in, I'm losing....so maybe I wasn't as good as I thought while playing really high. Still going to play though.
