Marty. You have helped with learning how to play songs on the guitar even though I'm a drummer. Steve Stein has helped me learn really cool stuff on the guitar as well. I have searched many guitar instructors online and the 2 that have helped me the most are you and Steve Stein. So you know the combination of Steve teaching me fret board, bending, pull offs,, hammer on and many more techniques, and you teaching me songs, I know i will have a great time Steve gives web nars that are really cool. Foo Fighters live at Wembley is in my opionion one of the best rock concerts ever.
Wow! this is dead easy, well not really but.... I bought my first guitar yesterday and after breaking the E tuning, I used a tutorial to help set it up and replace the strings (all) and now, Day Two and I'm playing one of my all time favourite tunes.
Thanks Marty, my soft fingers are sore now so I have to take a break but I'm so stoked to be playing something on day two!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHH!

in the chorus last chord i prefer to do 12 powerchord. so its 9 then 5 then 12. sounds better

Nice tutorial. The octave riff slide isn't quite right though ~ it doesn't slide from 10 back down to 9 - it actually slides up a whole step to 12 (A), then he releases for the drop D then resolves on the 6th string A power chord (barred).At least that's how I hear it on the Greatest Hits album version.
