What a great conversation! Thanks a lot for uploading. It was so refreshing to listen to two relaxed, reflected and knowledgable people talk about this very interesting project. I also liked learning more about you Corey, you're a chill guy! I felt the atmosphere of the podcast reflected really well the mentality of the content: really just wanting to get a long and that the reality isn't nearly as crass as it often is portrayed.It's super refreshing to hear a differantiated opinion that can comprehend that reality is complex and not black and white at all. I also think it's healthier to assume the good in people and not expect that everybody is out to get you. It was really very insightful, keep up the good work :)

You should check out the serious research from the professionals instead of watching the cheap propaganda videos by Corey… who will never show you the reality for the locals… who are denied their basic human rights simply because they are not Jewish. Corey job is to project the slogan of the “only democracy in the Middle East “….he is a liar. He will never show you the thousands of different way Israel apartheid works. He will never show you the misery suffered by the locals so Zios like Corey can feel like a “Chosen People “. That is why he keeps interrupting and editing is videos like a good hasbara merchant. He is a liar and he knows it. Ask him why he never shows you why he can travel free in Palestine but the locals need permission to go visit their love ones less than 5 minutes away. The only reason why Corey can make these cheap propaganda videos, and not a non Jew from Hebron , is because he is a member of the Master Race and has special privileges denied to the locals who are forced into concentration camps under military control.

Corey...ppl don't understand why Jews don't believe in Jesus Bc 1...Jesus was Jewish and 2...the Bible says the Jews are His "chosen ppl". Would seem to be a logical reason to believe as far as I'm concerned.

No, the major significance of that part of the world is its relevance in religious history for Jews, Muslims and Christians … there is no Al Aqsa mosque, western wall, Jesus’ major life events … are all part of that area and has to do with why it is so disputed and valued …

Like based on your point of view from all the people u questioned
The problem is that you utterly fail to elicit nuanced information, firstly, by putting interviewees at ease as to the purpose of the survey, and speaking in a non-confrontational manner, secondly, by giving interviewees breathing space to elaborate on their views further (if they want to), and thirdly, by asking them neutral, probing (not prompting) questions about the views which inform their responses to your initial question, such as:
- how long they have held them
- whether they have changed over time and why
- what sources of information such as news or social media they access regularly
- what life events, experiences, or other factors have contributed to forming those views
Instead, you immediately challenge them with your own viewpoints, putting them in defensive/debate mode. I have now watched a few of these vids and would urge you to educate yourself on interview technique before going back out there.
As it is, this project is, at best an opportunity wasted, at worst a channel which, by not going any deeper than initial soundbite reactions, and defensive responses to apallingly unskilled interviewer intervention, runs the risk to perpetuate stereotypes, not to promote any type of constructive understanding.
Please do better.
Corey, are you aware of anyone, particularly Palestinians, who have experienced any kind of retribution following being interviewed by you? Is it a concern that you take into account when planning a project?
Hello, this is one of his translators. When he has a sensitive question, he'd offer the responder the option of not being on camera, and just record their face. Other than that, it has not happened.
