I'd like to see the Pro Mods here running 3.92-3.84 1/8 mi. times at the Tulsa strip to show the 405 boys a thing or two. Better yet, call them out to Ozark Raceway for a big $$ down-low shootout. Some real hard-digging and mean Pro Mods in this clip. Cool stuff!
I'll be happy when this season is over and we stop seeing pro mods on the streets. Can't believe racers actually got together and agreed on something, lol.
there should be. these cars are designed to go 1320ft. when you have fox body Mustangs running radials going faster in the 1/8th then these promods. it doesn't look good.
NHRA pro mods still run 1/4 mile. And radial cars do NOT run quicker in the 1/8 than the professional pro mod teams. Do the best of them run quicker than these smaller-budget guys that are racing at a tiny, middle-of-nowhere track? Sure. And that's not even taking into account the faster wheel speed attained on a radial that allow them to run those e.t.'s.
Jojo until you have a $20,000 nitrous motor and are trying to do this on a budget! I used to feel the same way but I hurt a lot less parts running 1/8th mile so it keeps it reasonable for guys like me who work in the trades and don't have big money backers. I save all winter to be able to race so if I melt my engine down I'm done for months.
looked like a very awesome day! Very nice cars and some nice runs!
Red Barracuda is so clean!!!!
Love Pro Mods

Bob Falfa What on earth does that have to do with this video?
96s10 Drag He just wants to sound smart on the Internet. Thinking he has some secret that everyone who cares already knows.
MW-15 I could give two shits about sounding smart on the internet. I thought this was pretty widely known information
Are there no more quarter mile pro mod races in the US?

radials and going that fast is playing a dangerous game.
+Breal08 if you're gonna walk on ice you might as well dance

Actually compared to what NHRA ProMods are running in the 1/8, Radial vs. The World cars are running quicker
carros top cade corridas proibidas
really awesome
..but....but..if that track was 20 feet longer..everyone would be putting a new motor in
Johnny Davis - If the event was more than 1/8th mile (1/4mile), they would change to a higher gear ratio, lower numerically.
I just don't care for 1/8th mile racing. Drag racing was born on the 1/4 mile and that's how it should stay.
