Here in the Netherlands it goes for €65 at this price a great radio to get your toes into internetradio with DAB and FM. The clock/alarm function make it a bargain imho. In the manual I read it can run on batteries or usb power source, the way I interpret that is it can run on a powerbank as well.
Yes you can use a pc or android phone to do everything on the portal with Audials play software, you can set up everything on that app including favourites, eq, set dab and fm tuning, in fact everything in reel time... Hope this helps
Thank you for your introduction to this radio. I wonder what brand offers the wider menu you mentioned in your video? I'm struggling to connect mine to the internet at the moment, having just received it yesterday. Slow and steady, hopefully I will get there.
I will cover the wider menu features in a future video. The Roberts Internet Radios along with the Bush offer this feature, there may be others but those are the ones I know of.
If it has the same rubberized finish as the Pure flow one it will turn into a sticky mess after a few months, apart from that its a good bare bones wi fi radio!
Interesting radio Kevin, I liked it could stream radio Caroline my favourite radio station 😁, i wonder how long the aa's would last from a full charge on each mode FM, internet radio and DAB+ I think FM analogue will hang out the best DAB coming in last, look forward to part 2.
I am unable to add a preset button after 1&2. I choose my station, press 3+ scroll to an empty preset, press 3+ again and it does not set the station. Can you help please?
Did you sort this? Some rechargeable might not put out enough power a lot only put out 1.2 volts I use the Lidl ones they work on my DAB radios not sue if they would on this, also not sure it would be wise to plug it in with Alkaline batteries installed.

In case you ever got hold of the Ocean Digital WR23D, how does it compare?

Yes it does work on a powerbank and the display display is the clock.. 👍 👍

I bought this model and love it.. 👍

Seems to be just a standard plastic case on this one
Absolutely agree, I have a pure Classic One and yes it was stick. I got rid of the sticky with metho.. Better now its glossy
This does not have sticky material.
How's the wifi reliability? I had another wifi radio and the wifi was so unreliable, had to reset it often
This radio seems pretty stable without any lock ups.
Never tried dab+ because im in the us but i always want to try it
Hi is there an option to choose the list of Radio stations of language other than English.
Yes most languages are represented

I think a good set of AAs would give you maybe 8 hours, I am talking about alkalines. If you use rechargables it would be less of course.

hold the 3+ button, that changes it into preset setting mode, pressing it just shows you the stations you've set.
is it rechargable?
No it takes standard AA batteries or can be powered via usb
But does it use an esp32?
Not as far as I know
Mine does t start up with battery??

Can't pair to my phone via Bluetooth?
I don't think this radio has a bluetooth function.
There is Bluetooth on this radio, it’s available in the source menu, once activated search for it in your phones Bluetooth settings and pair with it.
if only they had put a LAN port on it, for people that dont have , can't use, or dont like to use wireless stuff
I know that the Roberts WiFi radio has a lan port.
interesting thanks. @@KevinOReillyswl
