I remember getting this film for my 15th birthday when it first came out. I hadn't ever seen anything quite like it up until that point, with all the violence, drug use, and swearing. Me and mates went through a stage of getting stoned and watching it over and over again. If someone in our social circle hadn't seen it, we would use that as an excuse to sit and re-watch the whole film again. It's crazy to think that was 17 years ago! Where has the time gone! Brings back good memories, a British classic and one of Dyers best films (as well as The Business), easily up there with Trainspotting in my opinion.

I like Zeb's smirk to himself not just at Billy's actions, but because of his past bullying and the fact he's locked up.
Zeb's happiness was very short lived.
Zeberdee must've thought life was going to be plain sailing now that Billy was locked up but his past caught up with him in the bathroom.

I don't know if this film is realistic, if football hooligans live and behave like this, but from a cinematic standpoint, Football Factory is a masterpiece.
From looking at the behaviour in display at Wembley this year those guys were drinking from 10am until kick off and beyond.
Dunno bout you but I don't know many at all who can go all day and night drinking without powder and then the violence. So it's definitely a reflection of reality.

Green Street was pretty shit. It felt like the over all vibe was like a coming of age 80s movie that ends with a high five still frame which really doesn't work well with the general "beating the fuck out of cunts" theme

The drug dealer is worse than Zeberdee. Zeberdee only does drugs and doesn’t deal it. The drug dealer is harming others whereas Zeberdee is only harming himself. And if Raff walked into the toilet instead of Tommy, the drug dealer would’ve shot Raff too
The drug dealer would have asked about for Zeberdee by Name because of the young Boy said shit that must if been Zeberdee, he would have definitely asked around and then finally found him after probably watching him for a bit but surprised he went into a football firm pub to shoot him, damn he wouldn't have made it out alive, I'm surprised there wasn't a sequel to this story like more storyline, SMH

He's some random drug dealer. Raff and Zeberdee approach him while he's sat in his car, pretending they want to buy - only next moment they've grabbed him, kicked him unconscious and run off with his stash of rocks. The local kids know it was Raff and Zeberdee, so it's not long before everyone knows.
It's a very poor attempt at a hooligan version of Trainspotting. Trainspotting in my opinion was a junkie version of Goodfellas.

Don't know which one it is as there are a good few of those around millwall due to the railway lines. The most famous one is probably cold blow lane. Many an away fan has had a good kicking there I'd guess!!!!!
