I started martials arts at 5yr old.
I got my WadoRyu shodan in 2008 after 17nyears training. (Old days when kids couldnt grade for shodan).
I didnt like the way Wado was going semi contact. So in my early 20s intried MMA and kickboxing.
2013 I found Kyokushin. Gave up my rank and started from white. By 2018 I achieved Kyokushin Shodan.
After the pandemic in 2021, I started BJJ and back down to white belt.
For me, i have no desire to have a load of stripes on a belt and bark orders, I want to always be a student.
