All my loadouts come from Novritsch. I really enjoy them. Keep it up!

I run minimalist chest rig (novritsch one) and minimalist battle belt (condor), and i can carry 8 m4 mags, pistol holster, 2 extra pistol magazines, 2 grenades, a dummy knife for silent kills and my radio, all with low profile pouchs, extremly light weight and low profile setup and carrying as much, if not even more, fire power as any other setup, i removed the dump pouch because i dont like my cheeks being slapped all the time, and i wear combat pants with huge pockets so if im in a hurry and i cannot put back in a pouch an empty mag, i just drop it in my pocket till i have time to acomodate my mags again. If i go to a milsim type game, i just use a back pack to carry extra ammo, water, food or whatever i need for the game

For my sniper setup, I love my minimal chest rig, I put most stuff on the sides of it so I can lay on my belly when needed. But the only problem I have with it is the lack of adjustment for the horizontal bar oh the H in the back. I ended up using old shoelaces to tight it up and my ghillie hides it pretty well.
It was nice meeting you Novritsch at the little shop in Montreal.

I'm a fat ass. I weigh about 267 pounds and at 5"11 height. Trust me the best thing for big boys like me is to go as minimal as possible. The Novritsch modular chest rig and their newest slim battle belt is the best thing they made for people like me. And most importantly for big boys like me their stuff is either streachy and or exstreamly durable. Best Airsoft gear purchases I've ever made was through Nov here. I just wish alot if their cloths and their bdu camo was in my size. Shirt XXL pants 42x32 regular

I own both and tried both but use neither.
For my sniper set up I use a sturdy normal belt with a pistol holster and a 2 pistol mag holster on the opposing side, both extended mag.
I have added a 2 pistol mag holder to the buttstock of my Vsr10 rifle so it carries its own ammo, if it’s a long game I have adapted a second 2 mag holder to fit elastically around my bicep.
For aeg play, same setup but with a drum mag rather than carrying lots of mid caps. ( I know that drum mags are a curse word for some so if you want to carry mags then a tac belt is better than a carrier as it will overheat you less)
My point being, decide what you need for your play style and get creative about how you carry stuff, you don’t have to choose one or the other and a sewing machine can go a long way to really helping you get your version of comfortable.

I run the novritsch plate carrier over my old chest rig/battle belt set up mainly because standardizes my kit through all seasons. If it’s 100 degrees out and I just have a shirt on under, or 30 degrees and I’m covered in layers my PC is the same. It makes it easier to train how you play. Also whether it’s cold or hot I still want water and having water on the PC is really easy. I play in desert mountain/forests and it’s very dry.

Type 63 SKS chest rig. Lightweight, silent, sturdy, under £20, holds 5 mags 2 grenades and a small pistol. Been airsofting 20 years, it's still my primary loadout for skirmish.

I typically run a chest rig in summer/autumn and a plate carrier in winter/spring. The chest rig provides breathability and such during warmer months while the plate carrier keeps me warm in colder months. The extra carrying capacity of my plate carrier is useful to me, generally, but I'm thinking about investing in a battle belt to go with my rig at some stage to get the best of both worlds

Running minimal chest rig with some stuff on a regular belt (so I guess battle belt). But the main part of the kit is the chest rig tho.

Hey guys, love these videos! I run a belt with a plate carrier but perhaps a rookie question of mine is how have you attached the knife to your battlebelt? It looks like paracord but I’m unsure of the technique. I saw this at 1:03 in the video. Appreciate the help!

      Hey Steve!
      Thanks for the feedback :)
The knife is attached with the bungee cord that comes with it, but there are other ways to get it done. It also depends on where you want to attach it.

The problem with chest rigs for milsim is if you are a multi weapon/mission dependent player changing loadouts for the different weapons is a pain.
Now if chest rigs were to get a placard system the same as a plate carrier that would be a game changer and have Mollie space around the sides for the rest of your standard gear.
So think a combination of the 2 novritsch chest rigs

I used to play with the regular Novritsch battle belt for almost a year. But my team really urged me to switch to a PC - which would be overkill if I combined with the big battle belt.
So I have just recently migrated to the minimal molle belt - and that is really really nice! I scoured the internet for similar belts, but they are much too expensive compared to what you get - and compared to the Novritsch one. Plust you get almost the same capacity as the big battle belt - but in a lighter setup. From now on, for CQB games I'll only take this minimal belt and nothing else, and only add the plate carrier for big milsim games.
The battle belt will still be my go-to if I go to non army side teams on milsim though.
But maaan is the minimal belt a good thing. I am surprised it is not advertised more :D

I run plate carrier, with 3 horizontal P90 magazines, one extra pistol magazine above it, and also have a leg molle( wish novristch made a leg molle) with two more P90 magazines in total of 5 magazines. This system works best for me since I run a P90 and if I use a minimal carrier system, it wouldn’t work for me since those magazines are really long and awkward to move around in.

I don't own a plate carrier. Just use a Smersh LBE for woodland or chest rig + battle belt for CQB. Both provide me with enough cargo space for everything I need.

Most players don’t use PCs because they look cool. Most players use PCs because they don’t know better. They see others using, and think they are just superior.

I do have a few gripes with this video, mostly that plate carriers are "for looks" as if people that use plate carriers are 14 or smt
There are many benefits to plate carriers, one of which is that mag pouches are more central to your body, making indexing and reloading overall quicker
Another huge benefit is that the magazines are in your torso area, rather than your stomach/hip area. the torso has much less movement, and therefore obstructs very little movement. It also means that there is much less of a chance to check your kit. To check magazines and other kit pieces, is easier on a plate carrier since you just look a little down. With belts and chest rigs, they tend to go around your body, including mag pouches, so its a bit more annoying to constantly check that all your kit is on you
Last major thing is the plates themselves. Foam/plastic plates keep your plate carrier solid unlike chest rigs which may loosen up depending on wear, clothes and such. It also pairs with the movement argument because unless youre wearinf somethinf bulky like a 6B45 with full groin and shoulder protection, it will keep your kit close to your natural radius of gyration
In the end, you choose what you want to wear depending on your kit. There are many other benefits to plate carriers like dampening hits, carrying HPA tanks and more. My reccomendation is to have at least 2 different kits, one plate carrier and one chest rig, and wear a battle belt for both rigs

me and my friend use plate carriers with shoulder pads/armor to lessen the impact of bb in our bodies... we usuallly play cqb and mostly use pistols (rifles are inconvenient in cornering) so we only use the battle belt to carry our fast release pistol holster and mags pouches...
