back in the ps2 and xbox original days i had to do this with my ancient 1981 mitsubishi tv, the local dollar store had the proper switches and i used my VCR exactly like this to make it work. I knew before clicking the link from kotaku what vince did to make it work haha

The good ole crt. They look great with a good signal. My brother and I used to rig up old tv’s we found in the trash with Nintendo and Super Nintendo. We would strip wires and tie them to the antenna to get an RF signal. Did that when we were camping with a Sony watchman. Little portable tv. The old CRT tv’s don’t have pixels as such. The game systems output with digital pixel resolution, but the tv just interprets the signal and has light projection in lines that scan across the screen. That’s part of why digital tv’s now are so sharp compared to old tv’s. Projects a more smooth image.
You know what's amazing is that the developers of this TV only could have imagined and probably wished for today's graphics to be displayed on their TV. Their dream in a sense has been accomplished. And I don't know if my eyes are deceiving me but is the HDMI to AV adapter displaying proper ratio or is it how the tv is outputting the signal?

They need to update this model, for portable reasons update it with HD/4k whatever, Throw in an HDMI, maybe some wifi and bluetooth options maybe some streaming services, a good price and we have something for picnics, backyard get togethers, camping, and etc.
