The PUSH START BUTTON is $81.70 and the BATTERY is $240.74 if you disconnect to let it die

Thank you..thank you and thanks. Many videos on RUclips talks about "it won't start" and you're the 1st person that explains what's going on with my 2019 Ram. I even called the dealership and they said "starter" which made no sense to me. But I disconnected the battery over the night and next day the truck is acting like nothing happened. I'm sure it's going to happen and so thank you sir

@anthonydent8866 Right on! Thank You! I'm glad you found this video helpful. I'm sure many Ram owners are going through similar issues.

    Thank you for your video.
My husband currently has the same situation and in the back it does show some type of leak on the roof. Right now we’re stuck with a truck that doesn’t turn off.

@Liz-dn2wx Oh no! Did you get it to turn off on your own? or take it to a shop?

Very informative. Just the other day, as I was pulling into work, my 2019 1500 went into an electrical spaz. Wipers turned on (would not turn off) parking sensors went bonkers, and it would not turn off. Had to disconnect the battery and call a tow truck to get it to the dealership. They looked at it 3 days later and cannot seem to duplicate the problem. After watching your video, I realized I had pressured washed the truck the night before.... Hmmmm, wondering now if the high pressure water got in and soaked the hub.

@ProudDadVet Is it running like normal now? Did you figure out the problem?

Problem actually went away while sitting at the dealership and drying out. I can only conclude it was High Pressure on the rear window or maybe in the engine compartment that got the electrical soaked and shorted out. Disconnect the battery for 20 mins to solve I guess. LOL because that worked for me.

My 2020 Rebel just did this in my driveway. Just trying all kinds of things. Husband put in reverse, backed up a little, then drove back forward… that worked. It shut down. We restarted and stopped a few more times for good measure. Almost 50K miles.

@joshuatrahan8828 Thats super weird. i'm glad you got it to shut off. Did you take it in to the shop?

I just had the same problem this morning. I drove to work 20 minutes, went to shut the Rebel off and nope. The screen would but not the truck. It ran for about 1 1/2 hours the timer didn't even shut it off. I ended up hitting the start / stop button 5 times fast and by chance it shut off. I brought it back to the dealer where I bought it from so now I'll wait to see what happens.

@jaybahre Glad to hear you got it turned off. Has the dealership given you any updates?

My 2019 rebel just started doing that yesterday and what a pain. Disconnect the battery multiple times for multiple time periods and nothing. I found myself using a 10mm as a kill switch

@snowalpha Did you get it fixed? What was the problem?

@@autovice I took it to the dealership, they ran full diagnostics and everything was “checking out fine” . They couldn’t pinpoint the problem so I took it upon myself to purchase a remote kill switch. Works for now

This seems like a common issue. I just had this issue and that’s what prompted me to look up a video. my truck would not turn off and instead would cycle between accessory and run only. I ended up leaving it on accessory, exiting the vehicle, locking it, unlocking it, got back inside and it finally allowed me to turn it back off. Might have just been luck though

@justinryanlopez6524 That's weird. Is it still doing it? or did you get it fixed?

Did you get the window fixed also? If not it’s just going to happen again! Oh geez what a pain

@karls4451 It was a hassle. I haven't gotten the window fixed yet. The warranty is expired so now it's on me. I'm sure it won't be cheap.

Seems that crack is a dodge Ram issue, mine is has the exact same crack and water did leak a few weeks back when it was raining.

@acrismar7620 Ram issues for sure. Both the cracks in the window seals and the truck not turning off. I really believe they are related.
