- I have been testing some samples of Armani Si and four of it's flankers over the past couple of months. Someone requested it (thank you, whoever you were, unfortunately I couldn't remember which video or post the comment was placed).
I was surprised, these weren't what I thought they were.
What are your thoughts on these fragrances?

Si Intense is the only one I bought. Ahhh, it's like black currant heaven. I notice I really pick up on that note and buy perfumes with it often.
That black currant note is very prominent! ☺️
Si (edp) is a fragrance that I dismissed when I first tried it, but it has grown on me and is now a safe bet when spending time with non-fragcommunity people. Love ampening up the rose facet with Andy Tauers rose body oil which he makes once in a while.
Oh my gosh that would be a lovely combo! I must keep an eye out for that rose oil! 😃
I used to like the Armani Si original many years ago. For me, it kind of went hand in hand as a second cousin twice removed with the 'Miss Dior Le Parfum', which has now been discontinued (well imagine my shock 😑). The Miss Dior 'Le Parfum' wasn't just a much denser, stronger version of Miss Dior, it was a different fragrance altogether, with all sorts of notes shoved into the background and others encouraged to sing at the front of the stage and promise to stick around for the encore. I hope to God that Francis Kurkdjian sorts out the unholy mess that is the Miss Dior range. It's impossible to scroll through the shockingly long list of Miss Dior incarnations on Fragrantica without laughing out loud. Jesus Christ, HOOOOOWW did Dior allow that to happen?! Imagine being a guy doing last minute Christmas shopping, having a note on his phone that simply says 'she loves Miss Dior'. Pfft, good luck mate...god knows what she'll unwrap.
Loooove miss dior le parfum and the 2012 edp version. It is so sad to overdo its legacy!
@@perfumetales The mystery behind why Dior quietly murdered and buried an enormous commercial success right at it's peak drives me wild with curiosity. The one everybody loved/loves is Miss Dior Cherie, the original 'toffee strawberry popcorn' one. And of course, the original 1947 Miss Dior that my mother often wore. Whyyyyy get rid of it and bring in these insipid pointless...aarrrghhh, they're turning into Escada with those ghastly pineapple and sugar 'seasonal' fragrances that nobody can keep up with counting. And frankly, nobody with any taste would bother. This topic makes me want to bang a big comedy size rubber gavel on the table, I get so passionate and verbose about it!

I smelled Si Fiori in the past and liked it. Also tried Si Intense 2021 but I think it is too fruity for me. Si Fiori (just a small bottle) is on the way to me, I heard it is going to be discontinued soon - got it on a good deal I couldn’t resist 😇 I hope it is as nice as I remember 😅

i am drawn to the Si line, i think it is because they are fruity sweet.. surprisingly i do not own a bottle from that line yet, only because I cannot decide ! LOL I wanted to love Passione and Fiori because of all the love that they receive, but i am leaning more to the new intense version they have....
I wish I had tried the new one! I hadn’t realised they had changed it…not confusing at all 🤪
Si Fiori is one of my favourite fragrances and the only Si I like! It has just been discontinued too so last chance to buy it now...why do they always get rid of the good ones?! 😭

I've smelled one of them, thought it was the red one, but it was too sweet for me.
To be honest with you I found si generic & mainstream👎 but that's only my humble opinion! Cheerio dear🥂😉

Am I the only one who feels Si Fiori is quite similar to Erba Pura? Just a little more feminine than Erba Pura probably.
It’s been a while since I tried Erba Pura so I can’t really remember. You’re probably right. I do remember that I wasn’t a fan of EB though. 🤗
