The multi-axis is definitely a game changer!
is there a way in Slice it or HOPS dice to mark slices as seam or sharp? Im trying to find a way less laborious to select loops of a large quad meshed object ive put slices through. Im going through mesh machin3 options, loop tools, selection tools... still looking through documentations and looking around but thought id ask. EDIT - its a canyon landscape so its got a lot of dynamics, not a simple object i can loop select on. Its quad meshed if that matters. I may just pony up the time and do manual selection chunks but it would be cool to know a fast one click way. or a function feature to "mark upon slice, for easy selection" - for all i know its built in and ive overlooked it for years. that happens
Update on the feature no one asked me to get back about. I manually added seams to the sliced loops. Took 30 mins. Works great for L selecting faces between seams, which is what I need for my thing. But I could see all sorts of uses for an auto mark upon slice/ cut. I’m going to feel foolish if it’s something common I’m overlooking, but it wouldn’t be the hundredth time.
I suppose we could select all the slices after creating them and then you can simply use the control e menu to mark them however you like.
