What fun we're having on this channel -- a little bit of everything. You're really doing a great job of building your community. I look forward to your uploads every week. Thanks, Si! Be safe.
I love seeing the baby geese on your site and Nicola's also. Brings me so much joy. It just amazes me seeing you bring up those delicate little things like the dress fasteners out of the Thames mud❤
Looks like you two had a great lark! Your videos have become an official Sunday morning institution, thanks so much for posting them. And congratulations to Katrina and Laney!
I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it is to see you back out on the foreshore, Si! You and Matt certainly came across some great finds! That little gosling @ 08:22 certainly looks like he will be a great mudlarker one day. Hope you enjoy the Foragers of the Foreshore upcoming conference. Please share photos/videos!
What a great video! Especially loved the piece of Roman pottery and the Tudor clothes fastener! Enjoyed the funky music in the background too 😄The stars have to be the rescue chickens! Thanks Si! Another hit! 😀
Great finds! The Romans beaker was cool! Love to touch something last handled around 2000 years ago! And Si love the history commentary I learn so many interesting facts!!
This may be kind of an odd thing to admit, but I've had an absolute shite day, having spent most of it at hospital with my dad, and Matt's "stunt double" comment and subsequent stumble was cause for the first real laugh I've had today. Thanks, guys...much, much appreciated.
Great hunt! I really love the history you posted about the Children's Jubilee. What an amazing event that must have been. I wonder if any of those mugs have turned up at boot sales....
Fabulous finds! Such a wonderful time! Congratulations to your winners! Love when you and Mr. Clooney are out together! Til next time, take care! xx ~Jen
The chicken pick was a good laugh! The roman flagon neck was way cool! I think you may have missed a coin just to the left of the bone button find. I was saying there's a coin! There's a coin! Even though you couldn't here me. Lol.
Si-finds Was the wheel removed by the city, national trust or other organization? Excellent condition & seemed to be from same time period as the clay vessel rim w/ handle?
Thank you for producing Sci-finds. Every episode watched is fascinating. The current format is brilliantly balanced; from larking insights to historical significance of a find. Well done!

Hahahahahaha, there is also '♫ Bang Bang, Maxwell's Silver hammer came down upon his head. Bang Bang Maxwell,s silver hammer made sure he was dead.♫ Love your chickens!
First, I would like to say congratulations to the winners. That was an unusual way of picking( or shall I say pecking?) a winner. You guys had wonderful finds. Your buckle and clothes fastener were awesome, and to be able to touch that Roman piece - how marvelous! The story of your friends medal was fantastic. I loved it. Great video and finds.
Great to see a mudlarking video from you again, and thanks for sharing those little gosslings. Lots of neat finds! I hope your mudlarking break has been for you to do something great out in the real world.
Thanks for sharing, the time scale of your finds is amazing, if videos like yours had been available in my 1940 school days the history lessons wouldn't have been boring.
Loved the chicken pick of the winner! Always love your vids, Si! Looking forward to some videos from the Thames Forager exhibition later this month! I think you could thread all the clay pipe stems and make bracelets for your Etsy store. Other ideas for them as well if you are interested.
Cindy ILBCNU Yes I have already done myself a clay pipe bracelet and wore it for months. Then it snapped and I cried. Only kidding. Maybe I’ll get Wendy on the case! Lol

@@Sifinds The .303 round is a rimmed cartridge. The one that you found is a rimless case. The extractor fits in the groove around the base. Wonder if it came from one of the zeppelin raids in WW I? Seems a bit too old a manufacture for Battle of Britain era.
@@Sifinds i know life is busy when your young and there is so much going on...Katrina is an example how i should be spending my days....when i get the hip fixed in 12 months i too hopefully can get out there and live...but until then i live through you guys on RUclips and creating my art...
