    Plant based has changed my life for the best. Wish I had switched years ago. Highly recommended if you care about health.

    makes sense
    most people don't see themselves going vegan but want to eat more plant based foods so flipping the plate sounds like a good way to put it

    It's wrong thinking human need to feed on meat. My Grand auntie was 100 percent vegetarian since she was 7. She lived up to 103 with no major health problems, barely get sick. Note that she lived in a small town in a poor country where medicine was not developed. Her business was selling herbal medicine and charity helping the poor. She passed because she wanted to, fasted for a clean body to die. She remembered every single name in the family, did not miss one.
    Human body with long intestine/ colon supposed to be vegetarian. In nature any creature with short intestine are carnivore, like tiger, eagles, wolves.....in contrast long intestine creatures fed on plants, like elephant, horses, quail, chicken......

    Its called flexitarian. The concept has been around for years. These celebrity doctors act as though they just created it! I did this 20 plus years ago for 9 months. I do intend to do it again.

    Meat as an accent/seasoning, not as a portion.

    Meat is not bad for you, just be smart about it. For example, do grilled chicken, not deep fried buttermilk chicken. You also can’t eat burgers and bacon everyday. A lot of it is common sense

    This is a great idea. It doesn't have to be perfect, just better and this plan is much better for people rather than the Standard American Diet constantly.

    I’m 62 and vegan 7 years. Just started my raw food journey 3 months ago. I gained weight while vegan due to eating a lot of starches-rice, pasta, potatoes, and beans. I want to get back down to my college weight of 120 pounds. Will take me approximately one year at 1 pound per week weight loss. At my age, that’s about as much weight as I can lose in a months time due to metabolism significantly slowing down for most people after age 60. It’s best in the long-run to let go of animal products because they clog arteries over time.

    I like real cheese and eggs so I know going vegan for me isn’t an option… I do like plant based dishes and try to incorporate them into my diet weekly …
    Like with anything we eat everything in moderation because anything can have an adverse effect

    Humans are not meant to live on vegetation, without enough saturated fat you end up with dementia. Among other things. Have you ever read the ingredients for those “meat replacements “?

      Humans, definitely are made to eat vegetation. We don't need animal protein. In fact many are intolerant.

    Humans wouldn't be where they are today without meat. It was literally a turning point in our evolution. I'm going to stick with what's been working for mankind for millions of years.

      Deadly wrong. Ancestors did not live long. The longest, oldest person lived average 40 years, based on science research

    • @superbeast8373
      @superbeast8373 2 года назад

      @@Hippy2021 What kind of argument even is that? Our ancestors didn't live to a ripe old age because they were living in trees and caves. Not to mention all the giant carnivores that wanted to eat them. We were literally closer to monkeys at that time. The meat and marrow that they ate helped them acquire more nutrients then they could ever get from fruits and bugs. It's what helped their brain and body grow larger over time. These are facts supported by science. Google it.

    • @ryansadilek6872
      @ryansadilek6872 2 года назад

      Not only did our ancestors not live as long, but the idea that meat made us smarter has been disproven. There’s actually no historical correlation between when we started hunting for meat and our brains increasing in size. I wonder where that myth even started 🤔

      Your statement is correct but doesn’t apply to our situation today. Unfortunately your brain is not developing every time you choke down a Big Mac. Mankind has done an abundance of things for a very long time which we wouldn’t condone in todays world. Our bodies are not continuing to evolve and develop each time you eat flesh or drink some cows breast milk. Most of our diseases and ailments are linked to consuming animal
