And it's advisable to tank lower level dungeons with your 2-hander. You will do more damage and generate more rage which in the end results to more threat which makes the runs a lot smoother. Only pop on a shield when you know mobs hit exceptionally hard (like the big elemental boss in WC).
13:00 agreed very much for leveling. No reason not too tank dungeons while questing you will level up faster and become a better player. Once you get to like LBRS then it’s like okay now you gotta make sure you’re good at Tanking.
Great guide! I never see people take Improved Thunder Clap but I usually like taking it because I do a lot of dungeon leveling as a Tank. Do you think TC is worth it for an Arms Tank spec? I know you can spam Demo shout for AoE threat but idk I just like weaving in TC in between WW on big AoE pulls. I do pretty big damage.
@@Az00069 it is actually pretty fun spamming thunder clap but I’ve never tried speccing into it. Might be worth testing. Def does not out dps a sweeping strikes whirlwind opener but is good to maintain aoe threat
@@ragequittinggaming2342 I still use Sweeping Strikes and WW. I put 2 points into improved Charge so I get a good amount of rage to start off with. I also pool rage in B stance towards the end of most fights so I know I'll have enough for the next fight. I basically swap back and forth from battle to berserk for TC & WW on fights with 3 or more mobs. It's usually something like Charge, Demo Shout, then Sweeping Strikes + Thunderclap on the same global, then berserk stance, WW, back to Battle for another TC and/or Overpower, then depending on how much health the mobs have left I either go for another WW or I just stay in B stance and pool rage. If I have more rage than needed I weave a cleave or HS in there too. And I use a macro that binds my MS together with HS & Cleave when I need a big rage dump. I noticed you bound your charge with overpower but I prefer the traditional hamstring on charge. It works pretty well. I hardly ever lose threat and usually top damage by a lot but I also make sure I'm slightly over leveled for the dungeon. The most important part is the pooling rage before the next pull, whacking critters or blood rageing whenever useful in between fights when the healer needs to drink.
Hello mate. I must argue that hamstring kite is not the way for optimal leveling. You lose the ability to Parry, which is cruicial because of parry haste. Parry haste reduces your swing timer by 50%. Very massive. And we are missing out on a lot of that when we hamstring kite. Better deck yourself out with troll potions and armor potions and bandages
@@Oriztomakilaz123 this is just a demonstration of how to hamstring kite. I failed to mention this but great point people should be prioritizing green quests along their leveling journey and if so you would just be 2 shotting mobs anyways. Thanks for mentioning. And honestly hamstring kiting takes a lot of mental energy I def don’t do this on EVERY single mob. Esp if there is large enough time between mobs to naturally regen. But In a more densely packed area where I could have very little downtime between mobs I def use hamstring kiting and barely ever have to stop to bandage or eat.
Bandaid are vital, if I know I'm in a poison mobs area I bring 80 food with me, Silithus bring stacks and stacks. As your leveling remember to keep the area clear when you have an objective, don't allow mobs to stay on your future flanks kill those mobs on the edges of your aggro range.
100% agree with you ham shrink coating is a waste of time. Warriors can easily face tank two mobs at a time without cutting them. Just make sure you have healing potions and you’re good.
@@jefferyneill Look. if you guys don't want to put the time and effort into hamstring kiting. that's fine. But you should not tell other that it is a waste of time and to just "carry more potions". Tanking is the same ad DPS with warrior except you dont wait for..... its the exact same lol Swop to defensive stance after using your rage jn Zerg stance tobstart encounter BT and WW in group then begin your tank rotation. Tab sunder is basic but its how it works. Do not rush after the one mob the DPS pulled out of the group, for get them, focus on the group of mobs.
its unfortunate that hamstring kiting does not work for every mob, many mobs are too fast to keep at a distance like the slow turtles and drones you show
yeah doesnt work on cats and shit but if you stand still for a second when you auto sometimes you can bug the mob to stand still too when you kite out. but otherwise yeah there are faster mobs that hamstring kiting doesnt work on.
4 times ? Doing the same content? Or dungeon spamming? I don’t have the patience for it. I fight mobs that are green and hardly take any damage to kill me. I’m level 39 now after six weeks and use Ravager. I just charge, rend, and spam sunder until Ravager procs
I prefer solo questing also. and yes you should be fighting greens and focusing green quests. 6 weeks though? i got to 35 in 6 days. Ravager is super fun i just got one yesterday. WW axe still better but ravager is fun for sure im having a blast with it.
Aren't you better to just spam sunder instead of rend because the damage from rend falls off around 24? I've also heard it's a bad skill to use in HC as it can break mobs out of fear... this is made worse if you have Deep wounds as your crits will spread it to multiple mobs. (Decent video tho!)

Mind dropping your macros in the description? I wanna try the warrior class.
Macros are cool.
Its important to begin to understand how they are made and why they work then you can start customisation of your own macros.
What would oyu like a macro to do?
Might be able to make one for you on the spot

Im planning to make shift macros for stance swop abilities.

@@garrettglowacki6397 you would have to make another macro for that and put it somewhere on your bar. or write it into one of your abilities.
