13k off a car that's overpriced by 30k seems meaningless. I hope these dealerships are allowed to fail for this, but we know the government is going to steal everyone's money and bail them out.
Bro what did the dealership do 😂 I guarantee you at 13k under msrp the dealership is selling the vehicle for less than they paid for it, THEY ARE TRYING TO HELP YOU at that point. If the dealership didn’t exist I guarantee you that dodge themselves aren’t going to do that lmao. Because I can’t speak for dodge specifically but I know the Tacomas only have about $2.5k in profit margin, so if we discounted a Tacoma $10k that is a $7.5k loss and it isn’t our fault that nobody wants the Tacoma lmao, we don’t tell Toyota how to design their vehicle and how much money to put into it and determine its cost. Don’t blame us bro blame the manufacturer for making a product that’s overpriced 😭😭😭
@@darienpitts7193People just remember all those markups, now you want to act like you didn't do anything. Sorry, you reap what you sow. Dealers raked people over the coals when they could so don't expect any sympathy now that the market is flipping back to a buyers market.
@@tboneforrealI’m not gonna deny the markups but also the good thing about dealerships is you can get these discounts too 😂 but also you gotta remember that’s how the market is, look at the cost of JDM cars on the used market, yikes. And egg prices, Jesus that was wild for a bit. It’s simple supply and demand. Economics my guy, people only hated the dealerships for it because they physically had to tell people it was a adjustment. If one company owned every egg produced then they would have to do the same with eggs.
@@darienpitts7193the difference is eggs went back down bud. You actually made argument for not needing dealerships at all.
@@mattneil1449this video alone shows that so are cars, most cars are being discounted like crazy rn, Subarus are invoice, dodge is going out of business. The discounts are ridiculous right now, so you mean just like eggs cars are going back down too 💀
Customer are not done overpaying, they can't pay at all.
Then why arent the prices falling? I see people still buying thèse things. Not sure where its "collapsing"
Yup... thanks alot biden
Repos are at a high because people can not afford loans that is forced by buying a car.
In my old school mind those are $36k trucks...
I agree! These aren't even good prices.
$1400 a month. Hmmm should I buy a car that’s going to be worthless in 5 years or a house? You can’t live in a car. With the car market about to crash, the dealerships have no one to blame but themselves. It’s no wonder they occupy the scum of the earth level with politicians, lawyers, and insurance companies.
You can live in a car, but can’t race a house………. I agree with the rest of your statement tho
I make $100K a year and if I can’t walk out the door with the truck for less than 45K I’m not even going to consider buying it .
Same situation for me. All these trucks are sitting at 60k and I’m at most willing to do 45k OTD
No issue for me. I have three late 90s GM OBS trucks and a Surburban. They run great and easy to work on.
I'm glad that discounts are now becoming the norm instead of market adjustments, but $ 60k - $80k is still too d*** much for a ½ ton truck.
What makes this more annoying is that you don't get any additional quality for all that extra money. What you do get is endless recalls, poor reliability, and even total engine failures.
I get that new tech brings new problems, but things like brakes, fuel injectors, windshield wipers, and roofs are not new tech, yet these are still recall items in the new and grossly overpriced trucks.
Maybe I've just got the mind of the old days, but I can't imagine paying more than 10k for a vehicle, period, let alone trying to justify the cost.
Used 2013 F150's 100k - 150k are selling for $12500 - $20k. Just stupid!
Good stuff!! I've not seen ANYONE On RUclips check prices in different areas quite thus way! You're onto something here! I credit YOU with this style of price shopping! Hope u do more models of various makes of different vehicles on the market! Again great job!!
Just so you know- those Ann Arbor deals are not what they’re giving you. If you noticed their XLT’s are priced higher than everyone’s-that’s because FORD is giving $3900 off on that trim from factory on the sticker. Their site is listing that as something they’re doing.
Also, almost all Michigan sites will give you the “XYZ” plan pricing. If you look at the disclaimer it says you have to qualify for it. Only prior ford employees (which Michigan does have a lot of) qualify.
Some dealers are doing good deals, the LAURA family of dealers always has good discounts for the average person, and my local Michigan dealer gave about $10k off my f150. They aren’t all doing it though and you have to click on the disclaimers.
Bought my 4x4 taco in 2020 peak of the pandemic for 30k. I live in CA and drove it all the way from the east coast. Got back to CA and was offered 40k at my local dealer. Declined still have and will not buy another certainly not paying 65k. Give it time people, bubble will burst
Can you please do this with affordable sports cars? Corvettes, BMW, Mustangs, Camarys etc… Thank you
this guy is a joke if he thinks theses are great deal...very FKing funny!
Having fewer pickup trucks on the road is a great thing! So wasteful and obnoxious and few of them are actually used for work. Most are garage queens that have empty cargo beds 99% of the time. And the more gas they use, the higher they make gas prices go. It's just supply and demand.
Lol, 72K for a 2023 ZR2 is still ridiculous. This truck should be 50K
These trucks are all still overpriced by over 35% on average......
These prices for new vehicles, even on sale, is why I only buy used vehicles.
Yes, i dream of buying a brand new corvette, but for now I have a 2000 toyota 4runner, and a 1994 BMW 740iL that both run well even at over 200,000 miles. And im too broke to afford a new car just yet. Maybe in a few years.
When you can get a new base model 4×4 pickup for high 20's or low 30's and a top trim with options for say mid 50's tops prices will be in line to where they need to be. 10% off a truck that's price got inflated 40-60% over the last 3-4 years is nothing. It's still overpriced. I can see an inflation of 500-1000 per year. A 2021 silverado custom in 2021 was about 39k. In 2024 it's around 52k.
Contrary to popular belief, Tampa, Florida is SOUTH!!
No discount it's 65k
12k discount, it's now 72k 😅😅
"Don't look at the price. Look at the discount. You're getting a bigger discount. "
The sad part is that people are falling for it .
Just looking at the invoice for my now older F150. It shows a $5,000 employee pricing discount, a $6,000 delivery allowance discount, and a $3,000 dealer discount. So I got it for $14,000 off its MSRP plus it was at 0% financing and the dealer made my first 2 payments plus 1 year of free oil changes. I can’t bring myself to overpay to replace it.
Just got 20k off a 2023 F150. I'm pretty happy with that. Maybe it's still a bit too expensive from where it should be. But I'm happy.
20k off sticker price?
@@chrisaguilar5702 Yeah, bought a fully loaded XLT for 56,500 CAD
@@chrisaguilar5702 Paid 56,500 CAD for a 2023 XLT fully loaded. Dealer had a 9000 discount and manufacturer had an 11,000 dollar cash discount.
Ya you say these are good deals, but your not giving us the total price, got something to hide?????
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that the Silverado ZR2 comes with a 6.2L or a 3L Duramax diesel engine. It doesn't have a 3.8L V6 or a 2.8L diesel engine. I'd appreciate it if you could verify this info before making a video to make sure it's accurate. Come on, man, you're supposed to be a car guy!
You should do a series of every state of the same brands you done in this video yes I realize that’s 50 videos but that would help out every one and it will give a lot of content as well I suggest starting with Virginia just bc I live there😂😂😂
I was hoping for a Ford Lighting deal, where do you recommend I get one?
I'm from NY and what you call upper middle class I'm not paying these prices. How reg blue collar is hard working people can afford one I don't know
The prices are absurdly high, and they seem to have forgotten what their customers actually want to buy.
And you actually believe these companies are knocking $12,000 off of a truck? Haha no way.. all they do is jack the prices up then cut the price as if you are getting a deal... And... then suckers jump on them thinking they got a sweet deal. What a scam.
More manufacturers need to just sell right to the buyer.
It's slightly unfair to compair four American full-size trucks with at Toyota mid-size one, though. I acknowledge that the Tacoma sells more, but a fair comparison would have been with the Tundra as the market has been moving towards mid-size trucks, giving the Tacoma a merely statistical advantage.
43 grand for a used 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road with 21,000 miles is actual insanity
Very overpriced
If they would stop making these trucks higher than 50k they would sell like hotcakes
Ford F-150 Raptor R $50k over MSRP No F$$king way. Period
these arent deals, they are 10% price cuts on a 30% - 50% upcharge. NEWS FLASH, your still getting overcharged.
There still way to much money 65 to 72 thousand they can keep them
No 150 or 1500 should cost a single penny over 40K and I dont care what they put in it. Let them all go bust.
How about the Midatlantic/Northeast bozo?
You're not checking the year. You got excited and it was a 2022 Ram. The video is a little sloppy and not informative AT ALL. Thumbs down
Need a disclaimer: 90% of the rebate is not realistic or buyer don't qualify for
Does this guy realize CA cars typically cost more because of CA laws? Try buying a car out of state and bringing it back to CA.
I’ll buy when there is $20-$25k off
You have to qualify for alot of those Rebates they are not all discounts ….
I’ve seen these thumbnails for months now. Which “finally” is it?
Restore an older truck, save 40k
That ram with the 13k off was a 2022 limited and you got the engines wrong on the ram and Chevy . Ram no longer offers a v8 for 2025 . No v6 in the Silverado
Yeah bro. Good video and all, but get the basics correct, please?
70k for a chevy😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Discounting overpriced cars/trucks to beging with just defeating the point
Your so-called analysis is comparing apples to oranges as you bounce around different markets depending on the vehicle your discussing. Thanks for the click bait!
I am dumber for having watched this. How much off means nothing.
Help me!!Im trying to find a 23/24 Toyota Sequoia Platinum
It's funny how you just completely skipped over Texas.
I work for Ford so I got Plan D on my F150 $12,000 off MSRP pick up truck and I got financing through Ford so I could pay it off early with no penalty 😊
What trim did you get and what was the total cost?
Did it really. I see tons of titles like this and learn nothing!
I got my 2024 mustang gt from chandler az Earnhardt ford for $38k it had 700 miles on it. STEAL
Yeah 13k off plus 13% interest😅
The new Nissan frontier is better than all of them
They are still over priced so what are you talking about
Not gonna sell too much money$$
Apple car play dont make me want to buy these vehicles.
Right? Plus you could just as well install a head unit with Apple/Android compatibility for, what, $250+ these days.
Don't buy any Tacoma after 2020, there junk the turbo four banger is a pice of crap. They should have stayed with the 4.0 v-6.
I had the 4.0. It was great. It’s too bad leases are a scam or I’d bought it outright after the lease was up. The sticker was $40k when I leased it. Never missed a payment. Was told I’d owe about $18k at the end. Went to purchase 4 years later and was told the payoff was $37k. I’ll never buy or do business with Toyota again. It really sucks is I modded it planning on keeping it. Bob Tyler Toyota in Pensacola can burn in he11.
They got a 3.5 v6 from 2015 till 2023 on the Toyota tacoma. The last year for the 4.0 was 2014.
California is overpriced and greedy. That is why I ordered and bought my truck from Iowa. I was given a $12k discount on my dream truck when California dealerships were racking people over the proverbial “coals”. Best advice for anyone in the market for buying a vehicle: 1-do your homework what vehicle you want, 2- shop around different dealerships in various cities and states and 3- be patient.
🎣
Just dont be stupid stop buying over priced deler mark up cars i mean if you really need a pick up truck try to look for used or from action it might be less desired as long it meets your needs u should be find wait until u find good deal somewhere in future your rush for dream pick up truck and willing to over pay raising prices over the roof just over paying for shit that would be worthless in like 4-5 year. At first it was supply demand lack of chips in market artificial inflation cause by demand and lack of supply now they are everywhere and delaer want to make same money and rip you all. Soon all dealers will be gone and broke they all losing costumers because of the way they treated loyal costumer sience covid shit for example i will not go back to toyota ever again wih the shitty temper they had during those time i find better costumer service and no mark up in wv
My local area is way cheaper than what your showing on MSRP most 1/2 ton silverados with a 3.0 Cummins liter is 63-67 k before any discounts I’ve been shopping them but there still 13k over where they should be. 70k on a 1/2 ton truck is a joke .
PS these dealers can suck it 🫵
