I found that using the Distant Horizons mod you get even more frames. For anyone who does not know what it does, it adds LODs to the game. That means rather than having a flat render distance of whatever you set it to in your video settings, you also have more chunks visible at a much lower quality. Example being, I originally played @ about a render distance of 12, and got about 30fps. With Distant Horizons installed, I play on a render distance of 6, BUT have the mod set to 80, and I honestly can't really tell the difference unless I REALLY look at it. I get about 45fps with this set up, so more than base, PLUS the added benefit of being able to see the terrain of the chunks further out, making the game look more beautiful, without the performance hit of shaders. PS: DH incompatible with shaders anyways, as the low quality chunks do not interact with the lighting effects shaders bring to the game.
For me, as a low end PC user, this mod is a must have for the most recent versions of the game. With Distant Horizons, the performance boosting mods mentioned in the video above (minus fast load), AND the mod Terralith, I feel like it creates one of the most perfect load orders possible currently for a low end user. It boosts your fps, allows you to see MUCH MUCH further, and with the Terralith mod, it overhauls your world generation so that you have some truly beautiful and awe inspiring world features wherever you may spawn in.
shaders can be customized to pretty much match the same color as the fake chunks to make it compatible at least a bit. some shaders still have the problem that the fake chunks are too bright at night which could be optimized as well but takes a lot of trying
Hi! I've been playing with this mod. It's such a cool mod! I also play with shaders and it's true, there are some visual glitches sometimes, mostly when toggling the mod on/off when you're inside a world, but I solve it by simply closing and re-entering the world, leaving the mod activated. No problems aside from that. Happy gaming! PD: I use complementary shaders, other ones may be incompatible, I dunno.

Thanks for these tips! I have a bad computer (potato computer basically) and it's rare for me to be able to play without huge spikes. With all these mods combined plus shaders and extra mods it actually works.
Not really. If t he mods you add are purely for performance and are programmed correctly (because if you ask this you plan on adding lots of mods), then the only thing that'll happen is it will take a little bit more ram and will make mc load slower. The abundance of textures being loaded is what's causing the problem.
Even if you have a good computer you should still use these type of mods to get your FPS from 60 to 144, for example, if you have a high refresh rate monitor or to be able to use more expensive shaders.

On a new fast system I'm using embeddium, oculus and a shader, and all performance mods I've used so far have shown no gain, some actually reduced the FPS. The only that did show some minor gain was CullLessLeaves in areas with lots of trees. The ones in the comment section that claim a good boost, are most likely people who have limited ram and try to use large modpacks. I have plenty of RAM, so any memory boost makes no difference for me. I also wonder how people test. When you have a modpack running at 50fps with tons of stuff built, then of course you're going to see a lot more frame rates when you start a new game and(!) look at the sky....doh. It's the same story with entities. If you have a farm with 100 sheep, and they're behind you and you get 30fps, then of course entity culling is going to make a huge difference, but does it make the game faster? No, only when you have tons of entities that you're not looking at. Yet people will claim that they went from 30fps to 100fps, without telling the whole story. But even that mod made no difference too me, with embeddium, oculus and a shader I got 245fps in all directions, activated the mod, restarted the game, and at the same location I dropped to 200-235fps, while looking around, the fps constantly saw large swings between 200-235fps, but without that mod I get an almost stable 245fps. Personally I think that embeddium is already doing enough to boost performance, any performance mod installed on top is just making it worse or showing very little gain.

@BinKY try changing your entity render distance
thank u very much new sub
Thanks at first I had 10-17 fps and now I have 30 fps or more I have 2gb ram and 30 fps on 1.19.2!
Can you use all those mods at the same time? Can they crash each other?
hi, but this background can be turned off, otherwise I don’t really like it, it’s just a resource pack, right?
Is there a mod for forge that provides a renderer for connected textures similar to optifines? Because Patrix resourcepacks needs it.
connectedness for 1.19.2 and 1.18.2
THANKS MAN.
If i were to combine these mods, what mods do you think will be more compatible?
How does Embeddium compare?
Wanted to say big thanks to you, now i can play minecraft even on my 10 yo PC. I am really happy, thanks again.
Can I use them all together?
Thanks god after a year finally found a vidio make me launch my Minecraft on a doom calculator tysm it's completely working,I just got 2 fps to 7 fps ( :D )
thats crazy that you saved the modpack for the end
i have problem when i add canary or immediatel something it crashes my game but whne i take them off its ok
Low end laptop is an understatement for me personally
Thank you
Rick I really miss u
Entity render seems really low with the modpack, and i can't change that in the mc settings. What mod is causing that?
Can you use them all together? Are they compatible?
hi yes they should be :)
@@gamerpotion awesome replying to comments on a year old video, thank you for the help
How did you get rubidium extra when I download the same version you have it closes the game when I open Minecraft
BRO WTF FROM 30 TO 240 FPS
can i use these all together?
From 0fps to 30fps. It works 👍
Which one is better for low end cpu??
is there a way to get sodium for forge?
🙂💀bro mentioned the modpack at the end after ive wasted my time download all
Can Canary(Lithium) and Rubidium(Sodium) be used together or do they interfere with each other?
I've got them together and runs absolutely fine for me. Although i dont know if it is improving my performance further
any of these works with optifine?...i keep it for fresh animations
im installing everything. we shall see. i dont have bad computer. i just want that smooth 144fps feel
Tell me what happened then
Do anyone else have a problem with rubidium? Whenever i break a block, it will drop but the textures will not update and it will appear as if it were there, and only after a long while or after manually updating chunks with F3 + A the blocks will visually update
Anyone else having this issue or know anything about it?
its happend sometimes, Try use embeddium mod. it's difference rubidium and Sodium
Stop using rubidium, embeddium is far more compatible with mods.
I’m gonna download all the performance enhancing mods until the sheer amount of them causes my performance to drop
And then download more until it loops back to being good
If your minecraft starts crashing when you start to render certain chunk just know - rubidium is the issue
Can u help me, why my Minecraft always crashing when loaded forge after download all the mods
where is the modpack? also the video is very useful tysm!
Dont use Rubidium, it crashes right at launch.
You may need to update your graphics drivers
I need this for my potato laptop
can these mods be used together?
Does pluto work for 1.20.1?
Some of these are causing crashing issues for me. I have optifine installed will this be an issue for compatibility?
Yes. Rubidium will not work with Optifine, I'm unsure about Canary/and or Pluto, but everything else on this list is compatible with optifine per my testing
It crashes the game
For some reason whenever I'm using rubiduim mod the world generates but nothing loads at all but the mobs, so if anyone can help me with that I will appreciate this.
Leaves fancy textures not working
