People if you’re in plat PLEASE remember, you don’t NEED kills if they are stuck outside of their spawn doors. The objective is to keep cart from moving. If they can’t move cart it doesn’t matter if they’re dead or alive.
5:03, after the death on high mid window. I’ve done that and I’ve finally learned, high mobility heroes don’t need you to go in with them. (Like Winston and genji). Stop trying to save them and bring them back to regroup. Trust them more and find a flank angle to shoot at the target Winston dove and try and reconnect with him with speed on his dive out. He dives out, you hit speed boost, then swap to heals to top him off around a safer corner. Trust your high mobility tank more to come back for heals. If he doesn’t learn that’s on him. Each time you try and help your gonna get picked off.
I think it's really a mindset. Don't go in with your high mobility heroes expecting to save them. Go in to help them get the pick. If you *can* save them in the process, great! But the priority should always be get your elims and get out. I always find Mercy/Lucio to be the best for that. Other supports just don't have the mobility/cds to survive.
I never even knew this skin had different effects until this vod and I would’ve rather kept it that way. Those noises were so annoyingggg Literally thought they were background sound effects emongg had on😭
I never understood how someone knows they're aggressive but wont take time to play in a different way with the same character to figure out what they might be doing wrong or how to get better.
Honestly though. I just don't understand how people feed/get too aggressive and are just oblivious to that being the reason they're in spawn half the game. No support can outheal that, heck there's been times when they're getting double pocket and they still fall over. Then they just rinse, repeat, and wonder what the issue is. It's like the few rare times it worked out for them has just been cemented in their brain and they think that's the play EVERYTIME.
@ crazy thing is when I’m playing dps I could be a good distance behind the tank and doing good damage BUT if I’m doing better than the tank I immediately get focused even by their tank. Costs them the fight most of the time but still

Sadly these are the types of supports and dps players I get as a tank and can’t solo carry the team 1v5 as a tank to climb out of my current rank. especially as lucio. I genuinely don't know how players like this rank up. There are several that i see repeatedly in my high plat - diamond games who get 15-20 deaths every time and are always the worst player, but somehow they win more than they lose. It boggles the mind.
Video idea: React to some of the VODs without reading sender’s comment instead read it at the end of the VOD. I believe that could be fun and create some unexpected moments
I personally like it since it's one of the only (if not the only can't think of others off the top of my head) that changes Lucio's music. I do think there should be a slider or something to change how loud you hear it though

@hihiglug really? do a lot of people not like circuit royale and route 66? I personally enjoy them a lot. they're not kings row, obviously, but I'm never unhappy when I load into a game on them. Havana, however, I can understand because sometimes it's a "I hope my team has the better snipers!" map. same with dorado. I suppose circuit royale can fall into that category too, but in my personal experience, circuit royale has never been too bad in that regard. could just be me though!

HONESTLY, I main Lucio and I go perfectly fine without switching to speed EVERY SINGLE TIME I need to wall run, and that 0.3 seconds of healing ain't doing anything buddy
14:05, you use that wall ride, communicate with your Winston to dive up speed boost kill the zen, then hop back down on their brig (or just side flank) and as long as he didn’t waste bubble, will have bubble, coil, your heals and dmg to dive for follow up kills.

Whenever I watch these videos all I can think about is an unranked game I had a few weeks ago where the enemy soldier was soooo blatantly cheating and clearly not a bot but was still one of the most killable players on their team

I think it's okay to want to be like frogger. Frogger is a very good player and he's very good at Lucio. however, the problem is not with frogger or his play style; the problem is that so many people refuse to put in the effort to understand WHY frogger is so successful with this play style. frogger is mechanically insane. his teams can make do without a lot of the benefit Lucio can give to the whole team because frogger wall rides in and gets a pick or two on cool down (or takes the Lucio 1v1 making the rest of the game a 4v4). but he also doesn't always do that. I'm not about to blame someone for being good at the game and having their own style. I'm going to blame people for not trying to understand how and why people like frogger make it work lol also, I do wish more frogger enjoyers would actually watch his videos from when he played in the owcs with Romani et al. I feel like they would learn a lot.

It's a big difference watching a Frogger YT vid where the most exciting dives and moments are shown vs watching him live and actually seeing a whole game play out I'd argue that right now Frogger does hold a significant impact on how Lucio players play(myself included) but yeah, full on blaming him is crazy. Like are people forgetting that bro has been Top 1, and is consistently in high Top 500 by one tricking a character? You don't get there making absolutely aweful plays

I've seen his main channel videos and that one video from a tournament (might have been OWC 2022 or 2023?) where during Circuit Royale, his Widow was 1v1ing the enemy Widow and winning. it just struck me as very similar to when every terrible Reddit Lucio was labelled as a DSPStanky wannabe when like, neither DSPStanky nor Frogger have played like that. they both understand the concept of 'there's a time and a place for that'. I get the feeling they probably kept trying to bike indoors while playing Pokémon (/half-joking).

I always love when supports blame everyone else while they are out there providing zero utility to the team. You could have been a Zen put 1 orb on the Monkey and had more of an impact on the game then running around by yourself not amping anyone and then dying alone over and over.
