Really one thing to work on would be game sense for knowing around where you and the enemy tracer tend to end up, there were times it seemed you fully lost the enemy tracer or didn’t know where you would end up. Also I agree with Emongg that you need to learn to get the kills instead of just the pressure. Otherwise I think you played amazing. Mechanically you are amazing. Things like game sense can come with confidence. All in all great plays. You will climb.
One thing I would add to Emongg's advice, if you care to consider, is getting a bit better with blink/ recall timings. Otherwise, your reaper was absolutely on point!
I'm just a gold Reaper main myself, but I must say that was fun to watch! I have no advice because you're already better than me, but I enjoyed your gameplay. Keep cooking, man.
I play dive the most and I tend to do that, just go back to my sups, stand still and let them heal me so I can go back in. Also I try to get as many health packs as possible to alleviate the pressure from the sups so they can focus on healing the others
@Aon_Duine yes! Key thing to do when playing a dive character. I play a lot of dva and Winton. I just hate when I go back to get healed and get ignored. Then I gotta use the "I need healing" and some people get salty about that, but like what am I supposed to do when I'm standing right beside you waiting to get healed?
@@error404webpagenotfound yeah, totally get you, I also play lots of DVa and Winton, also Ball, Tracer, Venture, Reaper and a bit of Genji. Sometimes I'm even standing right in front of my sups so they can see I have low health, and they ignore me completely, and some do get super salty if you use the need healing ping, to the point where they refuse to heal you for the rest of the match. Like, the need healing ping exists for a reason and I'm not even spamming it at all, just pressed it once cause you're ignoring me :/
tracers whole shtick is to play theyre backline and being a pest while playing off of health packs rarely going back to theyre supports, just how shes played at high ranks
I love the spectating videos, whether the player is good or bad, because i learn either way. But when the player is good, like this person, i get hyped watching them and their team pop off! Find myself rooting for em.
As someone in diamond, it can be a hard rank to play friendly (especially with certain heroes). People get angry fast and blaming and pointing fingers happens all the time. Definitely a hard rank to hang around.
I think plat is worse than diamond with toxic people. But also as someone in diamond I think there is an adjustment period from plat to diamond because it plays differently. And it takes a bit to get accustomed to
I’m plat that scrapes into diamond 4-5 depending on which hero’s and strats are more meta. I think similar to me a lot of diamond players can play certain heros and things like dive/rush/poke at different levels than other hero’s/comps so like for example I can play tank/dps in rush and ussssually poke comps at a low diamond level, but I’m closer to a plat level for sureeee on dive, so I think a team made up of 5 people in diamond that all can play specific things at a high level, but drop off playing other way plus the RNG of a team who all are diamond level at playing something at a certain way leads to the high toxic mindset because everyone there knows they can play at a high level, but only if everyone if on a similar page if that makes sense. Same with me on support, I can play plat in rush and poke but dive in a gold support forsure I get lost and my positioning in dive compared to rush have way different results
All ranks have certain levels of Toxcity to them I remember receiving death threats in Bronze for not taking care of the enemy Widow, while playing Brig…
So I have a genuine question. What would have been the best way for the enemy team to deal with their Reaper gameplay? Reaper played excellently, I’m just curious how one would counter the aggressiveness.
reaper excells at isolated 1v1s now that he's been tuned away from being the tank buster he once was. if you see a reaper coming for you, the best thing you can do is stay alive and get back to your team. his lifesteal is good enough to keep him up through most 1v1s, even against some tanks (tho less so and he's more likely to avoid those), but it's not enough to sustain against two or more sources of damage. just don't let him isolate anyone and he'll get far less value.
@@Battleress2 to add to this, a brig on the backline deters plenty of flankers or make them have to think twice before committing a dive, since brig can really punish mistimed/misplaced dives really well.
Ay had my team die to the most obvious and loudest death blossoms and I was silently crying trying to think of ways to stop that as a support. Brig is the only choice and I don't like that. More power to support
holy shit that attacker OT on round 3 was insane. its not only that he did mistakes and picking himself back up, but the team also managed to capitalize on the enemy team seemingly panicking and trickling and getting picked off.

As a fellow dia player but as a support, I feel the same about hitting the wall. Im stuck between dia 2-4 😂 I'm not really a huge rank player ever since (ow is the only pvp game i play), but lately I just can't queue rank as much anymore because of how toxic people are. Players are easily tilted by the smallest things, and it's not worth the stress.
Felt like he wasnt getting much help from the tank and other dps when he was Tracer? He kept getting surrounded by the enemy team, with decent survival, and they weren't cleaning up on all that attention and space he was creating?
1:30 that room is a no heal zone. I can't heal your ass in there without getting in a shitty position. The stupid garbage in the center is an extra LOS obstacle
2:28 Is it crazy to think that with better target priority this player would've taken out the Queen and the Kiri, evening the fight. You take those elims and head back for the med pack, saving your recall and allowing your team to regroup
A “wall” in improvement is when you know how you can get better, but it’s difficult i.e. scaling a wall. A “plateau” is when you feel no sense of improvement, and you don’t know what you need to do to improve. Sounds like a plateau to me.

It honestly feels like diamond players got worse after the comp changes but I mostly blame that to the awful placement system.
