Aiming recommendation for these slow rof characters is to stop holding down your fire button. You mechanically are more inclined to have your crosshair lag behind the target when you hold down your fire key. Use the pause between shots to slow track your target then micro flick to the lead you need.
I completely understand the healbotting on Kiriko, I just can't trust my aim to go for kills. I do try to hit some shots (keyword TRY) but most of the time I just embarrass myself or somehow hit a lucky shot :')
The death against the brig is on the mercy tho. There was nothing else going on and they were just yellow beaming their full heath teammate on the ground not paying attention. At least they got the res but definitely not 💯 kiris fault
meh, it's a bit of both. it wasn't a 1v1 like emongg said: the sombra was there with her and died to her first. if the kiri backed and just stayed behind her and healed her through the brig dmg, they both would have lived and the brig would have died. but you're also correct that the mercy def could have helped and should have
Trust yourself to hit shots, and if you catch the enemy in a close range fight and they're not looking at you, you don't need to strafe while you shoot. Have confidence in your ability! You played good this game!
hi, I'm the struggling kiriko here. first, thank you for the vod :) a couple of things I wanna elaborate on: 1. dueling the brig - kinda unlucky tbh. I thought my aim and my mercy were gonna caught up any time soon, help me with the brig and res our sombra. turned out wrong 2. the wall climb thingy. I don't really think I have a big issue with it hehe. through this replay, you can see me using wall climb many times to dodge/get out. the two times that were particularly mentioned are: a) at the start of the attack. it's not about wall climb itself, it's about that I don't understand where I need to be at all lol; b) dying to the doomfist near the pillar. I tried to wall climb, apparently got stuck at some 0.0001 cm that wall climb doesn't work at. sad :( as for the main advice, I DO need to slow down fr. as kiriko I always feel obligated to be everywhere at once, it makes me lose focus completely. it's basically the summary of the struggles I mentioned in the description: can't pick the right target to help because I try to help everyone, can't choose a good position because I try to be everywhere, and so on I also have comp anxiety which plays a part too, not really sure what to do about it besides just to play more again, thanks for this review! appreciate it. gonna definitely send a vod after three months to the where are they now series :) p.s. I didn't see that reaper even in the replay at first oh my god. creepy little guy
im by no means some insane kiriko (just plat lol), but i feel like he doesn't use high grounds as often as he should. that one room up the stairs after the tunnel, you can climb up there from outside instead of taking the stairs over and over. It's less predictable so you surprise people. first point too. just climb up, see if you can do anything. If you cant, just drop down. the wall climb gives you easy access to high grounds, so try it out more
Why do so many plat matches "feel" like silver max gold? A lot of people showing their footage are not able to use general abilities like climbing. As a Hanzo main when I get pushed by a better in close quarter hero (Reaper etc) I back off and immediately climb to irritate the enemy or double jump to escape/getting distance.
i thought this accurately reflected plat - the kiri did things that a silver/gold definitely wouldnt even think to do (moving head hitbox away from wid, flanking to kill the widow, taking duels, ulting early, not saving ult for the "perfect opportunity," being mindful of their dps and not just exclusively suzuing the tank, using their suzu to begin with lol) but there's also a couple flaws in their gameplay that are common with plat players, positioning, game sense, maximizing their passives etc.
18:47 that reaper just standing there menacingly is so funny 💀💀
I suppose the big lesson here is to remain calm and dont lose control. Be at your own pace.

definitely can see this kiri ranking up quickly. just a couple of things to patch and work on and they will definitely be zooming up ^-^
I think the advice of slowing down applies to more than support. Grinding tank recently, that tip alone got me up three levels in ranked.

My ult binding has always been on 3 so I never misclick.
if only support could make up for a throwing DPS/Tank or a smurfing one on the other side sadge
I ain't never been this early to an emongg vid, much love keep up the good work
I swear, Gold tank lobbies have tanks more in tune than this JQ.
Kiriko is me core ngl
watched this on stream but couldn't catch the whole thing, lets goo

A lot of people showing their footage are not able to use general abilities like climbing.
As a Hanzo main when I get pushed by a better in close quarter hero (Reaper etc) I back off and immediately climb to irritate the enemy or double jump to escape/getting distance.
it's because they post a vod of when they're playing bad and want to improve 😅
