Like an opening to a wholesome family drama. It's upbeat but humble with its jolliness and has nice lows to contrast with it too. It's like its saying "bad times don't last, chin up!". It's such a smooth shift. Such an underrated theme!

I just got the Sims 4 went it was free recently. Finally tried it last night, and this theme music hooked me from the very beginning. It is awesome. Having it play (or a variation of it) while I created my sim for like an hour and a half was perfect.

I absolutely adore this theme. It takes the Sims' theming of "This is my life, I do what I want with it" and completely runs off with it. Gives a mystical feeling that you can't really get from anything else.
Even if I have little experience with The Sims 4, this theme is easily one of the best.

For me it's like this music is conveying "life as a creation", where you create your own dreams with limitless imaginations and possibilities.
