You need more subs. i think i'm going to buy this. I've been trying to get more outside as of late, i'm a huge PC nerd gamer but i want to be more active outside. i know getting a "electric" scooter isn't going to help with being active but my main goal is to get outside more like i use too. plus this being so compact it's easy to take anywhere and not be limited by - either riding it, or leaving it at home.

I'd love a little more information regarding this too, I want to buy two of these for my kids. Can I set them up on my phone and have the kids just use them or do they need to have phones and have their phones with them when they ride the scooter. Hi TechTablets, I am torn down between Xiaomi M365 and Ninebot ES2 right now. Been thinking to purchase the later one but I concern with it's serviceability and spare parts availability in the long run. I checked that I can easily find the replacement tire for Xiaomi but I can not find the 7.5 inch rear tire for Ninebot anywhere. Overall, I like the review of the ES2 better, but for a long run, do you think it worth to buy the ES2 over Xiaomi with these concern in mind? I also like the fact that there's a lot of tutorial that enable xiaomi scooter to flash and change the speed limit that I also can not find in ES2. Pleas kindly reply and share your opinion

Nice review about this ninebot E1 model. I wanna buy this basically use nearby my home and i usually dont speed. Btw will u recommend me to buy this E1 model or the E2?? the price of E2 is almost $200 more. Can i buy extra batt for the E1? I consider this ninebot and XIaomi escooter but i think when ninebot been folded, it can easily be carry on the MRT or Buses and can also carry it vertical.
Is the rear shock suspension on the ES2 really makes a huge difference compared to this one? Speed, lights and range aren’t a problem for me. But the suspension I would like to understand if makes a huge difference or not. Thanks

Could you advise if either scooter's motor wheel are modular? I've yet to find a scooter that will not require so much hassle to maintain in the long run when it comes to replacing wheels. Often times these wheels have a dedicated cord that connects to the motor wheel, and they are not modular, and are very difficult to change out as it connects to other counter parts within the scooter chassis which require an overhaul of disassembly in order to replace the wheel.

It's on sale on Amazon. I'm considering it because unlike my other Segway gadgets, this doesn't seem to look like an electric scooter. In NYC (and some other places), that's the key over the specs.
So is everything controlled through bluetooth or do you need internet? I don't have data so if im out and about I'll need to use bluetooth to lock and unlock it and I dont want to get stranded

M365 better build on the Xiaomi I think, but the air filled tires can be a pain.
I need to buy a set of allen wrenches for my Segway ES2. Do I need to buy metric (in millimeters) or the other kind?
I bought it 3 months ago, and I love it. I ride several miles a day, every day. I weight 200 pounds.
At my weight, and usually riding at around 8 miles/hr (slower = smoother ride), I get 12 miles range on a full charge.
why does ur es1 look different than mine? I have an es3 from costco which is an es1 with an external battery but your handles and where you put your feet looks different.
So when braking you should press the brake button all the way down? I noticed when I press my brakes it seems like it's going to lock up
No mention of weight min or max. Also is handle bar height adjustable - for us tall folks?
i m a little bit over 100kg... my electric scooter also says it supports max 110 kg and it handles superbly...do you think the scooter will suffer a lot??

Good review mate , the only thing that imo is important that you seemed to not mention unless i missed it ........ was the weight capacity of the scooter , as some of us bigger guys can't use a light rated scooter.

I just bought one. Nine bot es2 I couldnt find any where on the manuals the charging time on the es2. And the are no charging indicator any where i could find either.. So i never know if it is charging or not.. Do you know where it is?

me too, i'm thinking it's just a plug to put on when you disconnect the handlebar. It's the only place where it fits.

yes, you can see him doing so to start moving the scooter and when he went uphill. I would personally not be too happy to kick the scooter forwards and would probably walk with it instead.

Shaolin Jaa yes. I don't know if it was that i tried on an android phone or that the seller did something. But it worked after a few days

Hi Chris, I guess you know the the current king of the electric scooters, the E-twow S2. It's more expensive (around 1000$) but it's on another level, especially the "super booster" version. Faster, more powerful, a bit lighter, more range, easy to swap tyres, folds better (including handles). I have several E-twow scooters but the super booster is just amazing. Would be great if you could check it and compare....
I'll see if I can check it out. I have a 500W, 30kmph scooter review unit possibly coming my way next month. But not sure, it looks the most promising yet.
The E-TWOW is a heavy beast. Rugged, but you need to be muscular to carry it and even wheel it.

Nice review! Do you got the ES2 model for a review? I have it and mine makes a weird clacking noise on the rear of the board. Not sure if the shock absorber or the rear fender resonates or the rear wheel has some play in it. The clacking sound is more audible when having a higher speed on uneven asphalt/ground. I will send a video to my official ninebot kickscooter supplier to see what they have to say about it.. thanks

Always, I think if I was on a smooth road used the standard mode the whole time I could do maybe 17-18 kms. Still short, but they did with a kid that weighs like 60 kilos, no winds and do loops around the track to get the figures. And then round it up a few miles.

It's also high profile, the Xiaome base is too thick and close to the ground, which makes it easier to scratch under some circumstances.
good video. maybe you should put a backpack on with a weight in it and get the two riders weights identical and then you could do a more accurate test on speed.. but it's still a great video.. with the hill climbing was a little better!!

You have to keep to bike lanes or footpaths here in Spain and if there is no footpath the side of the road. And not weave in and out of pedestrians and normal common sense.

489 for the ES1 and 599 for the ES2 model here in Spain. I can't find anything on the battery pack for it or estimated cost.

It's pretty necessary that the accelaration isn't extreme because begginers can fall when hitting the accelarator.

I thought it might be, but even connected to the app it was beeping all the time. Not until I registered and activated the scooter with Ninebot did it stop. It was so damn annoying and the app is also a bit crappy crashed on me a few times. The weather here is great, but I also find it boring. 320 days of the year here seem to be perfect weather. I want more rain!!!
Okay, that sounds pretty strange. But then it will be possibly fixed with an update in the future. I for myself would like to have more sunny days, an average of about 100 rainy days is a bit annoying. But in the summer it is getting definitely too warm at your place. No work possible... So, one cannot have everything, no?

what about the electric stuffs like the screen , the chips inside, won't that get fried if it gets water ?
the manual say not to ride in the rain so i wouldnt risk it. the power charging area does not seal up very well and water could easily get in. although you wouldnt want to ride in the rain anyway just cuz them wheels are not made for hydro gripping. i would say just uber for piece of mind on those kind of days.
