    As a graphic designer who worked in newspaper publishing creating print ads all day, I can concur that it is very important to export your PDF in CMYK - Great tip!

    Thank you very much for sharing your insight. I think I will shoot for a similar goal (about 40 books..) due to not having a huge audience by any means and wanting to keep the initial idea fairly modest. I really appreciate you mentioning a specific publisher option, as well as how much you had set your Kickstarter for. Congrats on getting yours published and sincerely thank you for putting this together to help other people curious about the process

    OMG this video was everyhting i needed and more! thank you for making this (btw the artbook is sooo cool, imma need to read that lol) this will really aid me in my project so id best get to work.
    up until that first comment on your worldbuilding in one painting video i thought small artists like us couldnt make those and were only reserved for triple a games and big budget movies but now i feel more inspired and confident i can make this and take my project ot the next level!!

      Yay! I am so glad you found this video helpful!! 🥰 I too use to think the exact same till I did some research and found out that I could self publish my own book! And I think the reason why my book was successful was because I made the project scope small with a limited number of physical copies 🤔
      I wish you the best for your project! Let me know if you need any more advice for making an artbook 💖

    That's nice. I'm already making my own but it'll be a 'print on demand' artbook since I'm not int US yet my audience in mostly in the US. I'm in the creating content step. :)

    • @stallout_art
      @stallout_art  Год назад

      LETS GOOOO!! Print on demand is perfect! I looked at Blurb as a potential print on demand company for my books but I ended up not doing that cause they didn’t have the book size that I wanted 😂 But for you print on demand sounds perfect and you won’t have to deal with shipping your books either, definitely a win! 😎 I wish you the best on your artbook project! Let me know if you need any advice or have any questions that I did not cover in this video 💖

      @@stallout_art I didn't knew about Blurb, so far I have think of Ka-Blam, they have a 'magazine size' of 8.25 x 10.75. They normally print comic book but they have that magazine size. Thank you for the offer, if I have any question I'll let you know.
