7:35 here in my city in Brazil is the oposite! I tryed to print my art on the print store in my city, the blue turned into black, the red turned into some rly desaturated red and the dark grey and black seems to be the same color for the printer... I fixed adding much, MUCH more bright on reds, blues and dark greys.
Seriously, this is super helpful. I knew some of these, but only because I work in a small print center. You’ve touched base on so many other areas that other published creators haven’t or I wouldn’t have even considered. Thank you! 😱🤯☺️

I just hope established publishers offer lower run amounts at reasonable pricing (whereas I'm not going to be printing thousands - or maybe even hundreds..) of books. Maybe in time... Thanks!!

The color parts is the most difficult one. Color correct is almost everything in a book production.
