I just made my first CS skin the other day. It's extremely basic. I just made the whole thing black and then made some parts white. But it was a start and now I got the basics down. Having at least something posted on the workshop has given me the motivation to finally make the skins I've been dreaming of. Cannot wait to get started even though I have zero art skills. XD. I bought one of those tablets to use on PC. one that doesn't have a screen it's just a black pad.
lets goooooo the first skin is always the hardest, but you prolly now have a lot of ideas you want to turn into designs. And I wouldn't worry too much about art skills its more design than anything and i think there are more skins without illustrations than there are with soat the very least you can watch design tutorials if you wanna improve. No screen graphic tablets are the goat its what I learned on when I was making digital art 💪😎
It was an absolute blast! 🤩 I definitely recommend getting an iPad, because its so portable and I have been able to do all of my client work with it. The only time I wished I had a graphic tablet was because of this video, it would have been a crap ton easier to make this cs2 skin in substance painter 💀
