  • This is a gelatin glaze recipe for Easter cakes. This glaze is just perfect and very tasty. It is made without eggs, does not crumble and does not break when sliced. The glaze is a solid white in color and looks very beautiful on Easter cakes. It is prepared quickly and easily, and it always turns out well.
    Ingredients:
    Sugar powder ......................................................... 150g
    Water for sugar powder .........................................30 ml
    Gelatin ....................................................................... 5 g
    Water for gelatin ....................................................30 ml
    Lemon juice .......................................................... ¼ tsp
    PREPARATION:
    1. Pour water onto the gelatin in a small bowl, mix and leave to swell, for about 20 minutes.
    2. Pour powdered icing sugar into a saucepan, pour water into it and mix until smooth. Then bring to the boil while stirring constantly.
    3. Pour the hot mixture into a dry bowl and add the swollen gelatin. Mix well until the gelatin dissolves.
    4. Beat with a mixer until a more fluffy and white mass is obtained.
    5. Add a few drops of lemon juice and continue whisking with a mixer until thickened for 4-5 minutes.
    6. Glaze only fully cooled Easter cakes. Garnish with sprinkles immediately, as the icing quickly sets.
