nice video, covers alot of different techniques .Never knew about the most aesthetically pleasing height of a picture center on the wall or hanging at eye level. This makes it tons easier to do home decor framing projects and figuring out where to hang
A person’s eyes are about 3-4” below their overall height. If you consider 57” as eye level, that makes the average person 5’1”. I would consider hanging the pictures higher, say 62”.
I am learning so much by watching this video. I am in the middle of buying my new house so this will be very helpful. Thanks Lowe's. You guys are the best!!!
The only things she used were a hammer, drill, and a stud finder. She also used a measuring tape, a pencil, and some masking tape… The hanging materials can be found at the hardware store. They usually come in packages of varying sizes and types.
Whew, this is saving me as I have 2mirrored sconces to hang over my dresser and I was stressing how to get it right and not screw a million holes in my apartment! Thank you!!!
Whats the trick to get the bottom of the pic frame to butt up against wall I made a 16 x 20 collage for my son but the frame has one now hook clip) at the top so I got it hung but the bottom of the frame is way off the wall how can I get it to butt up like the top... Probably a dumb question but I don't do this stuff?
Agreed. Mine would fall off on the summer months when the walls would warm up. The combination of that and the wind coming from the overhead fan caused a huge frame to fall and shatter on me one night.
good video, but the woman is talking too fast and the music is interfering with listening to how to do it. wish they had it in words how to hang with D rings.
There's a lot here and for me it went by very quickly. I think if theyd gone a little slower with showing what a d-ring looks like for example and also taken off the music and sound effects it would have been easier to follow.
I fully understand that these videos have a commercial focus. But I still find it funny how all the equipment shown to hang a simply picture would total +$1000
I would say 600mg to 800mg of IB prophren to handle the migraine after this music and lady talking. Id take a school bus before this video again....geez.
So Dad that American houses are so ugly we need to cover just about every square foot. Don't need to do that in a German Huf Haus. They're simply clean livable and harmonious.
Nick some people want to be precise and have a visual. And they did say IF you want to check the placement, implying that it's optional. No need to be angry bud
My god this is like rocket science
Yesssss
Lol
I'm actually kinda surprised how helpful this video is, the tape on a level to transfer hanger locations is brilliant!

Man, this woman can hang a frame.

isnt it cheeper to hire her...
@@penzoil302 I’m sure she’s cheap, but I bet you she’s already hung the pictures of every guy in town, too. If I wanted that I’d still be married.

Be easier to listen to the instructions if there wasn’t music blaring at same time!
They should turn the music up, I could almost make out some of what they were saying.

Picture hanging level 9000! Thanks, I always enjoy these videos!
I could have used this about 2 weeks ago when I tried to line up 3 frames that took me 2 hrs to do
Polishdd timing is everything, right? :) Next time you'll be ready.
I liked the video. It would be nice if they listed the tools and hardware used in the description.

I will try this steps when Im comfortable doing it.
I like the adhesive option that is set at the end but I'm curious as to what the weight limit would be for such an option
It says on the packaging

Excellent video. She makes it look so easy. Nice to learn some new techniques also. Thanks.
Thank you for the information. What about heavy frames going into studs. Do I use wood screws to hang the frame?

This isnt so easy!
Instructions unclear: there is now a hole in my wall and shattered glass on the floor
I wish the music wasn’t so loud! It’s in competition with the narration 😵💫

Stay away from adhesives if you want your wall decor to stay on the wall.
Yeah those things are crap
Agreed. Mine would fall off on the summer months when the walls would warm up. The combination of that and the wind coming from the overhead fan caused a huge frame to fall and shatter on me one night.
I tried the Velcro to hang a frame up. The frame fell to the floor and slid into the wall plaster on the way down.
And if it wasn't for the anoying background noise and herself talking like she was in a race against time., soo irritating 😐
what? I thought this would be simple tips.

I have an absolutely different definition for D-ring.
Hanging pictures with 2 D rings gives me trouble.
what the name of that color on the wall!?
Unfortunately, we don't know this exact paint color. We'd recommend working with a paint specialist at your local Lowe's. Thanks!
