    1. Buy a good heavy mirror.
    2. Measure up.
    3. Wonder why you bought the mirror.
    4. Throw it away...

This video would be a lot easier to watch and follow if, 1. the narrator spoke just a little slower, and 2, if there wasn't that awful, frenetic background music. Is that music really adding anything?

    • @lynnepostings

I have to agree ... he was speaking FAR TOO quickly ... as though trying
to give the impression of " See how simple it is ... won't take you a moment " etc
BUT the viewers watching this wouldn't be here if they were confident & so are obviously nervous about hanging a large mirror safely in the first place !
( more so in my case ... as it is to be placed on my main wall directly above a fluid filled radiator ) And so it needs to be really secure.
The terrible uneccessary, HYPER music in the background only added to the stressful feeling ... and so it was difficult to concentrate when considering all these factors.
BTW : there had always been a large mirror on that same wall since first moving into my home ... BUT there was no radiator below it at that time.
I still want to hang the new mirror in the same place as it's the main wall and focal point etc ... but much more stressful due to it being pretty heavy, large & above the radiator.

It's the "hang it on the hooks" part that is giving me trouble. They are behind the mirror, as are the rings on the mirror. The rings fall down when I am not holding them, and I cannot see them to line them up.

I understood all the way until he they said to measure from the ring hole up to the top of the mirror then transfer it to the wall seems like it was backwards shouldnt you mark the wall with the distances of the two hooks then the distance of the ring hole from the actual mounting hooks itself to determine exactly where to make your hole in the wall to mount the mirror?? I dunno I got lost

This video is way too fast. I can't think this fast. It could be broken up into stages, which are introduced at the start of the video. And there could be a three second pause in between each instruction. It's GREAT content but just badly needs to be re-edited to be longer. It's fine, I'm willing go spend five minutes learning this. That's why I sat down with a cup of coffee before I looked this up. The picture is going to (hopefully) hang there much, much longer.
