I was surprised at how well the little Zeiss held up against the G Master overall especially considering it's size. What would have made this a really compelling compare would have been if you had gotten hold of the Sony 35 f1.8 to throw into the mix. I am beginning to wonder if the G Master would give me an extra $1,200 (CAD) of satisfaction over the price of the f1.8. I do already own the Zeiss and, like you, thought I would wait for the f1.4 to upgrade especially as I do love the build quality of the 24 f1.4 but now I am reconsidering....
