This was so helpful…I have always avoided zippers, but had to make a little dress for the flower girl for my daughter’s wedding, (who just happens to be my granddaughter). Your tutorial is the only way I was able to get through this and finish the dress three days before the wedding! Thank you sooo much 🙏🏻
That zipper was a real nail biter! lol. Thank you for carefully explaining how to do an invisible zipper. What a beautiful dress! Zippers always intimidated me, even though I've done a few, I'm not a fan lol of zippers. Thank you again!
Actually, that's not an "invisible zipper". That's a regular zipper....installed so well that you think it's invisible. An invisible zipper has different looking teeth.
your work is so professional. I enjoy tour videos. I still try to avoid zippers, and I don't know they're so intimidating! slow and deliberate is the way to go to avoid mistakes, that's for sure.
Thank you. Im making a Halloween outfit for my granddaughter and it had a long zipper down the back and I had never put one in before but thanks to your tutorial I think I can handle it now and I'm sure in the future.
A great alternate way to install a zipper! Especially if the bodice is lined. wish I had seen this a few days ago - it seems much easier than the closed seam method. Thank you .
Beautiful work! A soldering iron is great for cutting off polyester zipper tape ends as well as sealing it to prevent raveling. Be sure to use a metal ruler or knife between the plastic ends of the zipper & soldering iron to prevent melting. Do not use on natural fibers - they burn ...
Hi can you please show us the segment where you were going to attach the bodice lining to skirt using the burrito method. I would love to know how to do this and cannot find it anywhere.

Glad to find this! The pattern instructions were so confusing and this shows clearly how to tuck the top of the zipper so it does not show.

This was a great tutorial. I have always struggled with getting a nice zipper insertion and this is wonderful.
Are you missing the step of attaching lining after you attach the skirt?
Thank you so much 😊
Fantastic teaching - thanks
Were is the part you show were you fished off the yoke lining?
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It helped a lot for me :)

Same here.
Me too!
great tutorial. Why not use double sided tape? seems easier to me
Do you iron that down, or just stick it down? What kind do you use? Thanks!
