Big Z thank you so much for sharing this, I had previously got my track mastered by you and you did an amazing job! But also you have opened my eyes to the fact that I’ve been really over complicating my songs, this is honestly gold and I’m so glad I follow your channel! AMAZING!
LOVE the videos - learning a great deal by watching your stuff! Keep it up. LOVE the format - Teaching ppl how to make " THIS "....hooked me the first time.
Big Z, thank you for taking the time to create all these awesome tutorials, such a champ!!! It would be awesome if you could make a tutorial about proper gain staging specifically for EDM!!! A lot of these drum samples come in very hot already, what is your approach of setting the best and cleanest gain levels, leading to the best and cleanest results? Thank You
Thankyou for sharing all this I'm a new wannabe producer whose working on this big big project (aka my song) and I just am lost but now I know what I shouldn't do the next thing is to really work on the song thank you again so much
Hey Big Z !!! Thanks a lot for that tutorial 🙏 as always, it’s really help One question : I LOVE that track And I would love to produce something in that style do you have templates or do you sell/ give some production of yours like this one, to learn from it ? What synth you use, how you mix that track, some stuff like that ? Thanks a lot man ! Keep going, you re really inspiring me
Yo please keep doing more content. You’re so clear and on point! Quick question, on your track stack you put the bass separate from the drums whereas I see some engineers/producers put the drums and the bass in the track stack together. Just wondering your reasoning for this? Thanks in advance 💯🙏
Sometimes... especially in bass house music, the bass line is really important and you need to automate the bass line/compress/EQ (add effects etc...) directly without running it through the drum bus. I know at least thats why I do it, but often times I run the bass track through the drum bus in order to make side chain easy... but I dunno for sure.
Nice tips man, I like how you get right into the subject of the video right away. And for that, Like and subscribed without any creator begging lol! See you next video bro.
If the main tone of your sub is hitting inbetween 40 and 60, but there is also low information below that, would it be a good idea to roll off some/all of that? Or do you lose important frequencies if you do that?
Video is amazing! One question: you are telling about making the sound brighter to stand more in Front. How can I make a sound brighter? Stereo or other?
You can make a sound brighter by boosting higher frequencies, or I have found that cutting the mid frequencies helps with clarity (suppose its whatever fits). you can make a sound stereo or mono by widening the stereo image. I have found that delaying the signal coming out of either the left or right track (sample delay) creates a nice stereo widening effect. Hope this helps :)
I think people tend to really struggle with understanding where to place element in the stereo field. I hear a lot of track that are way too mono or way too wide and there is no direction.
6:50 There has always been a question in my mind. Maybe it will sound stupid but do i have to keep my sub bass in mono while producing the track OR actually make it mono when I'm mastering it. What i usually do is when I'm producing i keep the sub in mono. And when I'm mastering it , i put it in mono again.
Are you sure you can just move those sub notes an octave lower and call it a day? Won't there be a disconnect between the chords and your sub when the sub drops an octave while the chords go up an octave? Maybe im wrong...
Ive heard this bass/synth sound in multiple songs but idk its name or how to make it. Ive been searching for it for 2 weeks now, but still don't know. If anybody knows how to make it, or where to find the preset please tell, it would mean a lot to me, thanks! Doja cat - 4 morant ruclips.net/video/5qNgbIGsrtM/видео.html timestamp 1:00

Mistake No 1. *NOT PUTTING STEREO REVERB ON SUB FREQUENCY*
So true
Layer sub 3 octaves and insert autopan make the ground shake

40-90 is also the age group of future house music producers in the year 2077. Fun fact from the future: Soundgoodizer is now a complete DAW.

Wow this is actually really great advice.

What are some of the most used sample packs for the drums nowadays? I feel like I'm not using the kicks everyone else is using
That is so RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!
You should release this song

GENIOOÓOOOOO...SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Great!
everyday Big Z uploads a video is a good day
sounds like deep kiss right in the middle of 💨
Video is amazing!
One question: you are telling about making the sound brighter to stand more in Front. How can I make a sound brighter? Stereo or other?
brighter means to add high frequencys with an eq😉

Do you ever use SPAN to mix?
I would love to see you make something completely out of your "comfort zone" like a remake of one of J balvins songs, would be very interesting!
Make a remake of "Vize - Devil's Cup" bass please 🙏. Thank you 🙏
When you dropping that track!
Could you show us how to remake My head & my heart by Ava Max
Respect....
I think people tend to really struggle with understanding where to place element in the stereo field. I hear a lot of track that are way too mono or way too wide and there is no direction.

you can use a simple mid side eq to cut off any stereo sound below 130 hz
No need to mono it in mix since you're gonna end up doing that in the master anyway.
release that track
bro I sincerely missed you
Are you sure you can just move those sub notes an octave lower and call it a day? Won't there be a disconnect between the chords and your sub when the sub drops an octave while the chords go up an octave? Maybe im wrong...
It will be fine
His facial expressions are from another planet.
lol he actually doesn't look high this time
bless you my big man
I like how he wrecks his mix session just to show us an example 😅😅
Ive heard this bass/synth sound in multiple songs but idk its name or how to make it. Ive been searching for it for 2 weeks now, but still don't know. If anybody knows how to make it, or where to find the preset please tell, it would mean a lot to me, thanks!
