So the things that will be expected to happen in anime gonna be:
1) Zygarde vs Rayquaza
2) The return of Mega Evolution, and Mega Evolution vs Terrastallize
3) The return of Kalos
It be very surprising if they didn’t do something with Z-A. It has lots of potential, like the special in journeys having a continuation of the XYZ stuff with team flare returning, and other characters. Plus they are already doing something with a shiny Zygarde 💚
the current anime already will already have the ZA thing since both SHiny Zygarde and the black Rayquaza are inside It literally screams ZA
As long as the Pokemon anime is running I will never give up hope on Ash and Serena becoming a couple

This series is going to go crazy.
I’m hoping to see Professor Sycamore and Meyer so that plot line where Meyer was going to help Sycamore with Mega Evolution to be revisited/resolved. Seeing Lysandre again as a villain will be cool too.
I'm hopping Bonnie is gonna have a major presence when Legends Z-A releases and is featured in the anime. Clemont and Sycamore as well, they are major Lumiose residents and I hope this game takes place after X&Y and not in the distant past, because it would be great to see character progression for more pokemon characters that aren't Red and Green in Sun & Moon. Maybe Clemont is the new Professor and Bonnie the new Gym Leader, or maybe they have other goals and I'll help the players in some way.

I teally like the idea of incorporating the shiny zygarde reveal into a ZA anime! I fan torally see that!
I bet we will see Lysandre in the this game, if it takes place in the past (fairly certain in it is), as I wouldn't be surprised if the weapon from X and Y blasted him into the past
I really hope they DO do something with Z-A, and I'm praying we get more Clermont and Bonnie
I always wanted Ash and Go to travel back in time and experience Hisui and Legends Arceus first hand but of course Journeys being Journeys would never do that. Since Horizons isn’t Journeys time travel might be possible.
I hope the xyz art style comes back please let it.

I would be so hyped for a Pokemon Legends ZA anime! if they make it as good as the Legends Arceus special then were in for such a treat! I just hope they do gen 6 right this time if any events, characters or plot points are revisited.

I predict a spin-off series that centers around Alain and Marin as they travel all across the world finding new Mega Stones and discovering and battling new mega evolved Pokemon!
Dang! The only thing we xy or old fans of ash and the show as a whole, is we want is a perfect satisfactory closure for ash's charecter! For god sake, do a timeskip age ash and serena and finally let them settle together as a couple thats it!!
Including talking Meowth should be considered in the Pokemon anime as Pokemon ZA As well
If we do get a Pokemon legends ZA anime to take place at least five years after journeys so Ash will be fifteen by now and I also want Ash to undergo the stages of growing up change being neglected, drifting apart from one letting things go and acceptance

Ratio Ryuga leader of team Neo flare and son of Lysandre who wants to finish what his father started by using the powers of yveltal and eternatus to create a more beautiful world
Xerosic head scientist, and second in command team Neo flare
Aliana
Celosia
Bryony
Mable
Colress Ratio ordered his grunts to break out of prison so that he and Xerosic could combine both their mind control technology so that team Neo flare could control both yveltal and eternatus and then create the DNA splicers to allow them to merge both yveltal and eternatus into one singular destructive entity
Hunter J revealed to have survived the destruction of airship, but severely injured and crippled Ratio had Xerosic and Colress transformer her into a Pokémon hunter cyborg.
I'm not getting my hopes up too far, because what we got with TAC was better than a good chunk of Journies yet still felt weighed down somehow to me.

I REALLY wanted Ash to be time travelled back to the old Sinnoh and have a short arc in Hisui, maybe not during Journeys because that would've been odd since his goal was to climb the ranks of the PWC and not be back in time where he can't advance but a special would've been really cool. If it was an actual journeys arc than at least we could've got rid of that cold streak of really bad episodes and it could've made him learn a few things possibly

Pokémon Legends: ZA anime sounds interesting, I like secound option the Plot upcoming potencial new Pokémon anime where Ash, Serena, Clemont & Bonnie and Pikachu reunion to Pokémon anime in The Lumiose City hitorical festival arc, and thanks Celebi Ash and others frends from Kalos region they journey in time & space to the begins of Lumiose City together Squishy and Z2, Maybe in Pokémon Legends: ZA anime we see shiny Squishy and shiny Z2. Explorers and Volt Rising team(Liko & Roy and Dot) they woldu have appears in this anime? I'm not sure did this good idea. Summary: Kalos gang get time travel with Celebi - Yes, I will this watch, Liko, Roy and Dot and others members Volt Rising team and Explorers - I not sure did good idea, Lysandre return and realized his plan revenge - Hmmm... This is not good idea, Many information of Ash -Greninja - Yeah, I will watch this too. Discover history of Lumiose City and Prisim Tower this is fantastic idea. AZ & Eternal flower Floette - I will watching too. Ah... Who know this Pokémon anime based on Pokémon Legends: ZA really will be created, I wish because this anime was not only Netflix available but regular TV channel eg. Disney XD available too.

I’m already saying it, but - If Ash will return someday (like in the final of Horizons for 30th anniversary of franchise, where he could help the Rising Voltackers in final battle), I hope that writers will return his personality from XYZ. To somehow smooth over edges.
I have a theory - Shiny Zygarde is Lucius. Who becomes this Pokémon because the original Zygarde wasn’t available for help, and Lucius going to that sacrifice to save the world.
About some connection in future HZ Kalos arc - there’s could be chances for return of Clemont and Bonnie. And since Bonnie is an extremely spirited girl, Liko’s meeting her could be beneficial for her (Liko’s) character development. And if there is time travel, we might see a grown-up Bonnie from the future. :)
And, if we’ll see a Blueberry Academy and Synchro Machine, there’s could be place for Ash’s Greninja.
This arc/series absolutely needs to happen!!

Where Can i Watch horizons?
Alain is technically Calem anime counterpart. The same with Sawyer being Wally's counterpart and Paul being, Silver's counterpart. Again, technically, because they are not confirmed like Ash and Red.
Don't forget that Ash clothes is inspired by Blue Jacket Calem and red hat and shoes from Red (in his Kalos version in games, Smash Bros series and Origins)
Calem doesn't have an anime counterpart.

I’ve been out of the Pokémon anime scene for a few years.
What the heck is going on here?
So just a recap, Ash was crowned the best trainer in the world and his journey is over (well technically for us is over, but in-universe it's continue to happen off-screen), now we are in Horizons, were we follow Liko, a new trainer that with a variety of other characters know as the Rising Volt Tacklers travel the world in search for solving mysteries involving ancient legends, they are being pursing by a group known as Explorers and their leader is shown to have a Shiny Zygarde, not the same Zygarde Bonnie bonded with in X&Y the Series though. So now Long is speculating what is going to happen in the anime when Legends Z-A, the brand new pokemon game releases in 2025, because usually there is always something from the games that are reflected or expanded in the anime.

I haven't watch Ash enter the Galar league and I really want Serena return as Ash's travel companion permanently in the real Sword and Shield series anime because Journeys anime is just a non-canonical reboot.

At the time, I was really disappointed with how "Legends Arceus Anime" turned out. I really expected a full-scale arc, with how great the game was (characters, the villain, new Pokemon, new lore etc.) but we got what we got...
Hopefully, Horizons will fix this problem too

not really. The anime already show that Riko and Roy will eventually meet Shiny Zygarde. Shiny Zygarde has appeared in the anime and also Black Rayquaza is the A. ZA is SHiny Zygarde since it has appeared in the anime
