I keep seeing this and no they didn't. Shaun mentioned being in a Korn cover band at one point but Seether was never a Nirvana cover band. Their music at the start was very Nirvana inspired but they were never a full-on cover band.

How about dubstep, thrash metal, punk etc. Some great songs can not be directly translated for acoustic guitars... Great songs can always be re-written to make it fit acoustic guitars but it gives the songs a different feeling/message. Sometimes it better to leave some great songs untouched.
