The white residue is ipa and plastic mixing with water. I get the same thing when cleaning 3d resin prints with ipa and then rinsing in water. Cheers

Interesting point. I wonder if XPlus had to pay any licensing fees given the kit was released last year but Metropolis enters Public Domain this year? :)
